BL TYPE IMMOBILIZATIONBL Type LT-Thermoplastic immobilization masks are compatible with BrainLabTM type immobilization head only and head neck and shoulder immobilization platforms. Similar techniques and water bath temperature are implemented when working with this immobilization mask system.

SHOULDER-TECHTM DRAPES FOR SHOULDER IMMOBILIZATION

The Shoulder-TechTM Drape is designed to be used in conjunction with the FreedomTM System SRS and Head & Neck Module. All LT-Thermoplastic sheets are manufactured using the most current and advanced processes available, ensuring the highest consistency with respect to stretch, working time and ultimate patient comfort. The sheets come in various sizes and thicknesses, ranging from 1.6mm to 4.8mm, and are available in both Solid and Perforated types to ensure maximum accuracy and comfort.

All LT-Thermoplastic products are dry heat compatible.

Forming an LT-ThermoplasticTM perforated 12"x24" chest mold in use with the SaBella FlexTM. See page 32 for more information.

The Freedom™ Spine Module has been developed in conjunction with New York’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and incorporates large and small low density low attenuation carbon fiber bridges that are fitted with indexable side paddles.

The side paddles allow the patient to be alligned centrally on the simulation couch ensuring the patients spine is straight. This allows for significantly faster patient setup, planning and treatment.

The breast positioning LT-Thermoplastic cup with strap is an accessory that provides lift to the patient’s breast to avoid any unwanted fold during the radiotherapy treat-ment. Skin dose can be reduced when skin folds are minimized.

Easily repositioned with precision.

The thermoplastic part of the Breast Immobilization Strap can be heated up in hot water and molded for best fit to patient. It has no solid area, instead it has a consistent perforated pattern, maximizing skin sparing.

The strap is secured after molding and taped into place to ensure reproductivity.

Today’s need for universal precautions to reduce cross-contamination during patient care, are met by the dry-heating system. Warming Drawer goes from room temperature to ready in less than 10 minutes.

Setting the temperature is easy and simple with the digital temperature control. It takes approximately 5 to 15 minutes for the Thermoplastic to be ready, depending on the size and the type of thermoplastic being heated.

Sliding drawer opens fully to provide unrestricted access to the material.
