The following list, based on information furnished by the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), identifies 763 AAFES suppliers do-ing more than $1 million in business with the exchange service in fiscal

2011. According to the exchange service, the fiscal 2011 list is based on sales versus finance and accounting payments. This list does not include govern-ment agencies, foreign vendors paid in foreign currencies or any payments made manually.

Additionally, in several cases, sales that have on previous lists been cred-ited to brewers, distillers or beverage manufacturers show up on the current list credited to distributors or bottlers. AAFES attributes the differences to

consolidation and brand shifts within the industry and confirms that there has been no change in the way beverages are purchased by the exchange service.

The number of million-dollar companies is slightly higher than it was on the fiscal 2010 list, and the club continues to be an exclusive one. Its mem-bership list is an honor roll testifying to quality merchandise and sustained performance.

In some cases in which each of two or more divisions of a single company did more than $1 million in business with AAFES, sales from divisions/sub-sidiaries have been combined into a single total. In others, the divisions are listed separately and are marked with an asterisk (*).
