ABOUT US

Fire & Safety Industries (FSI) is an independent Australian owned company formed in 1991, servicing customers throughout the world including Australia and South-East Asia (Indonesia, Laos, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand & Vietnam), as well as Africa, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, New Zealand, and South America.

FSI has a solid reputation and impressive level of expertise with its senior employees having more than 130 years experience collectively in the fire protection industry.

When first formed, the company specialised in fire suppression systems for mining equipment and off-road vehicles. It was this experience that led to the development of the company’s own ‘Foam-Guard Automatic Fire Suppression System’. After significant consultation with the mining industry, machinery manufacturers and mining contractors, the system evolved to the current ‘MK V Foam-Guard Fire Suppression System’ and the company now services a vast variety of industries including mining, forestry, construction, transportation, industrial, marine, and manufacturing. Alongside the fire suppression system, the company also provides a number of ancillary fire protection products and can provide specialist advice and equipment for Special Hazard applications.

As a leader in system technology, FSI wholly developed and manufactured their current system and continue to regularly invest in research and development and system updates to meet the changing needs of customers and industry standards.

There are currently over 5,500 FSI systems in service throughout the Asia Pacific region.
