FinShiksha is an IIMC Alumnus start-up, focusing on specialized financial education customized for corporates. Our endeavour is to simplify finance, and offer programs that enable the participant to not only match the rigor that the industry demands, but excel in those functional skills.

Our Work

FinShiksha is a company dedicated to financial education, and our primary strength lies incapital markets oriented programs. We offer specialized e-learning programs in the CapitalMarkets Space. We have online certification programs for students who would want to buildtheir careers in financial analysis and investment management. We also do customizedcorporate trainings for firms in the capital market space, such as Motilal Oswal, KotakSecurities, Reliance Capital AMC amongst others.

We conduct a pan India competition for MBA Finance Students every year, in July and August.This year’s competition is live now. The process of the competition is as given below

1. To enrol in the competition, the students have to register for our online courses –a) First year students can take either or both of the following courses

i. Certification in Finance Essentials - Banking and Marketsii. Certification in Applied Financial Statement Analysis

b) Second year students can take either or both of the following courses i. Certification in Equity Valuationii. Certification in Credit Analysis

2. Once they complete the course, they have to give an online certification test.3. Post this test they create a project, and post feedback from us, they submit the final

project.

The top scorers post these rounds of online tests and project viva win the competition. Eachcourse will have 3 winners.

During the Learning Championship 2017, we had enrolments from (in no particular order) IIMs at Calcutta, Bangalore, Indore, Shillong, Kozhikode, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Kashipur, NMIMS Mumbai and Bangalore, IMT Ghaziabad, IIFT, XIM Bhubaneshwar, SCMHRD Pune, SIBM Pune and Bangalore, JBIMS Mumbai, KJ Somaiya Mumbai, NL Dalmia Mumbai, Great Lakes Chennai amongst others.

The following companies participated in the evaluation Process1. Motilal Oswal Financial Services offered a PPI to winning candidates for their

Management Trainee program – and recruited one candidate for finals2. PPFAS mutual Fund offered a PPI to winning candidates for their Internship

program – and recruited one candidate for summer internship3. Carpediem Capital and Spark Capital interviewed candidates for a role of

internship4. Zanskar Capital Advisors offered live projects to selected candidates.

Peeyush ChitlangiaPeeyush Chitlangia is the founder of FinShiksha. An Alumnus of IIM Calcutta & MNIT Jaipur, Peeyush has been in the financial services industry for the last 14 years & has extensive exposure to Equity Research & Financial Modeling, along with training. Peeyush is also a CFA Charterholder

Prior to FinShiksha, he worked as an Equity Analyst and Fund Manager at Allegro Capital Advisors. Post starting FinShiksha, he has more than 50,000 man hours of teaching experience, he has trained nearly 10000 participants across organizations such as Aditya Birla Group, Reliance Capital, Motilal Oswal, Dr Reddy’s amongst others, and the top MBA institutes in India

Parth ParikhParth is an alumnus of NMIMS Bangalore, and DJ Sanghvi College of Engineering Mumbai. He holds an experience of over 8 years spread across organizations such as Accenture, Fidelity and ICICI Wealth Management. His key areas of interest are Wealth Management, Asset Management and Financial Modeling. Parth is an FRM, and has also cleared both levels of the investment advisory certifications by NISM.
