I. Introduction • Drugs are chemicals that change the

way a person's body and brain works.

• There are 2 kinds of drug

Legal : medicines, cigarette, alcohol, etc.

Illegal : marijuana, cocaine, crystal meth,

heroin, etc.

• Drug addiction, also called substance dependence or chemical dependency, is a disease that is characterized by a destructive pattern of drug abuse that leads to significant problems involving tolerance to or withdrawal from the substance, as well as other problems that use of the substance can cause for the sufferer, either socially or in terms of their work or school performance.

IV. Symptoms of Drugs Addiction

• Using drug regularly and it can be daily or even several

times a day.

• Failing in stop using the drug.

• Spending money on the drug even though you cannot

afford it.

• Doing things to obtain the drug that you would not do such

as stealing.

• Doing other risky activities when you’re under the influence

of the drug.

• The individual significantly reduces or stops participating

in important social, recreational, work, or school activities

as a result of using the substance.

• Extreme mood changes

• Changes in energy

• Pupils of the eyes seeming smaller or larger than usual

• Find the right drug treatment program.

• Get involved in some distracting activities such as reading

books and doing exercises.

• Yoga and meditation are excellent ways to bust stress and

find balance.

• Having the support of friends, family and counseling with

psychologist or doctor.

• challenging self-defeating thoughts.

• Make a break from old drug buddies.

• Avoid bars and clubs.

VIII. Conclusion Drug Abuse is using drug a lot that effects to health, body, brain , feeling and behavioral change in an individual. Especially, it damages property and makes violence in the family and spend much money and times to treat it. Moreover, it effects seriously in society such crime, steal .
