On the 5th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Rebuilding Together, in partnership with Sears and other sponsors

and volunteers, commemorated the occasion with a pledge to rebuild 50 homes in 5 days.

One year later, that commitment to New Orleans continues. In addition to their participation, General Electric and Sears donated home appliances to 22 Fifty for Five families. Eight homes

received a full home appliance set consisting of a stove, washer, dryer, and refrigerator.

Thanks to General Electric and Sears these homeowners are returning home to brand new appliances, thereby improving their quality of life and making their houses more

energy efficient.
