• An abundance of cultural and biological diversity is celebrated

• Nature's capacity to thrive is enhanced• Health, wealth, and useful resources all grow• There is value and opportunity for all.

And in the future?


Cradle to cradle design reject the assumption that human industry inevitably destroys the natural world. Instead, CRADLE TO CRADLE DESIGN embraces abundance, human ingenuity and positive aspirations –

AND - it has the answers to sustainability


And what about our education for sustainable development ?

Are we just educating for “slightly less bad world” OR

“being a little less bad but not good?”


For the campaign against climate change is a campaign not for abundance but for austerity. It is a campaign not for more freedom but for less freedom. Strangest of all, it is a campaign not just against other people, but also against ourselves.


Optimism is a strategy for making a better future. Because unless you believe in that future can be better, it’s unlikely that you will step up and take responsibility for making it so.


You never change things by fighting against the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the old model obsolete.
