What is mathematics???

Mathematics is an abstract science number, quantity or space.

We learn math for three reasons……1. Calculation2. Application3. Inspiration

THE FIBONACCI SERIES………

The person to whom this credits goes was Leonardo Bonacci… he was named Leonardo of Pisa, Leonardo Pisano Bigollo,etc… .

The fibonacci numbers appear in his book ‘Liber abaci’.

The fibonacci number occour in nature…. Example: the number of petals on a flower, the number of spirals on a sunflower or a pineapple , etc..

• The Fibonacci series are easy to remember…

0+1=11+1=21+2=32+3=5 3+5=8 and so on….

Squaring the Fibonacci numbers… 1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34

1 1 4 9 25 64 169 441 1156 If we add the squares of the Fibonacci

numbers…1+1+4 = 61+1+4+9= 15 1+1+4+9+25= 40 1+1+4+9+25+64= 104

=2*3=3*5

=5*8=8*13

Why should the equation be true???12+12+22+52+82=104=8*13……..

Area of the rectangle is always equal to the:• Sum of the area of the squares

12+22+32+52+82=104• It is also equal to the product of length and breadth….

l*b=(5+8)*8=13*8
