Collecting, Sharing & Verifying KYC Client Data Just Got Easier!

Financial Institution Onboarding

Each participating financial institution can access the cloud-based e-KYC utility through Fenergo’s Client Lifecycle Management portal.

New Customer Request

New customers can sign-up for a new account or banking product through their digital channel of choice (mobile, online etc.). They log into Fenergo’s secure and responsive portal, eliminating the need to go into a branch to open an account.

Enrich Customer Information & Consent to Share Through Fenergo, the customer provides their KYC information including name, address etc. Fenergo’s CLM portal provides multi-language support for a wide range of languages, including Semitic languages.

Once the customer confirms that the information provided is correct, they can then provide consent to having their data and documents shared with all e-KYC utility member FIs.

Identity & Digital Verification If the customer selects digital verification, they will be prompted to download the ID&V app via their preferred delivery choice (e.g. SMS message or email). On the mobile app, the user will be able to biometrically verify their identity and will be prompted to submit identifying documentation (e.g. proof of address etc.) and perform a liveness test. They review the information extracted from their documents and confirm submission to the financial institution for review and final verification.

The KYC process is quicker, easier and more cost effective for all participants of a KYC utility that is powered by Fenergo e-KYC Connect.

Fenergo e-KYC Connect orchestrates all customer journeys, expertly navigating the customer through all KYC and AML data collection points enabling the creation of a complete, verified KYC profile available for use between a wider network of collaborating financial institutions, government agencies or utility firms.

Financial institutions that are signed up to an e-KYC utility (powered by Fenergo e-KYC Connect) can draw down completed and verified KYC profiles uploaded by other financial institutions for the same customer, accelerating the KYC and client onboarding process, thus enhancing the customer experience.

Data Management Customer data, documents and “consent to share” information are stored securely in an e-KYC master customer record. The solution also supports distributed ledger technology e.g. blockchain. This data is centrally managed and only viewable by authorized parties.

e-KYC AML Screening

The onboarding financial institution ensures the validity of documentation, screening and digital verification. The e-KYC Connect onboarding workflow is fully integrated with the Fenergo Rules Engine and Customer Onboarding process. In the background, Fenergo’s Regulatory Rules Engine accurately calculates the in-scope rules and regulations and assigns a client risk rating to the individual or entity, dictating the appropriate level of Customer Due Diligence required.

API-First Data Integration

Enhancing the customer risk profile, Fenergo Data Integration Manager automates the consumption and processing of client data from multiple data providers (such as legal entity data providers, AML data providers, screening systems etc.), eliminating the need to ask the customer to submit more information.

Compliance Team Review

Fenergo provides visibility and transparency for all stakeholders across the end-to-end customer journey. When the case has been reviewed and approved, the customer is automatically notified.

New to Bank/FI Customer

When a financial institution receives a new customer account request from a customer of another e-KYC utility member FI, the customer master record is retrieved and, if necessary, the customer updates this information. This updated e-KYC customer record is then made accessible to the other e-KYC utility member FIs, if the customer has consented to share their information.

Fenergo e-KYC Connect provides secure registration, with 2-factor authentication and log-in system. It also offers digital data capture through online and mobile-enabled document submission, and secure digital identity verification.

Fenergo CLM Portal: Providing multi-channel access (across online, mobile, branch and call center) for frictionless digital submission of customer data and documentation, and digital verification of customer identity. This portal solution can be white-labelled to accommodate the financial institution’s own branding.
