FoCS Update

FoCS Family Quiz Night 18th May Please join us for our Annual Family Quiz Night on Saturday 18th May. There will be an array of prizes for

all age groups. All family and friends welcome. Please purchase tickets at:

https://www.tickettailor.com/events/friendsofchasesideprimaryschool/263195/

All proceeds raised will go directly towards our 2019 FOCS Wellbeing Appeal.

Summer Fayre Volunteers 13th July

We kindly ask any parents/carers who can donate a raffle prize, help with preparations or run a stall at the

event to contact FoCS, please email [email protected].

Co-op

Our Local Community Fund partnership with the Co-op has raised £957 to date. Any FoCS families and

friends still have until 26th October to nominate FoCS as their chosen charity

at: https://www.coop.co.uk/membership when shopping at local Co-ops stores. If you don’t have a card, you

can buy one for £1 and register it in store.

Litter Since we have started having the packed lunches eat with the school dinner pupils in the dining hall there has been

a big reduction of litter in the playground. This creates less attraction for the seagulls to come to visit us in playground.

We have willing litter pickers from Year 6 who every Friday afternoon come rain or shine go out and make sure our playground is as tidy as can be.

Volunteers Update

Some of our parents/carers have been helping around the school especially in our grounds. If you are able to offer some help or information about maintaining the

environment it would be greatly appreciated. We will also be looking for a group to help to tidy and

reorganise our library if anyone is interested.
