present the cloth quilt blocks within a stunning design. I soon discovered that not only was the pieced quilt top the centerpiece, but that the actual quilting designs on the top itself were not just a practical way of securing the top, batting and backing fabrics together, but beyond that simple construction, the final finishing elements would clearly transform the beauty of the composition so it would stand out even more in all it’s glory! Viewing the work of other professional quilters was delightful and awe inspiring. Sometimes when we are called to face new challenges, especially new, or unwanted boundaries that darken and turn our world upside down, we may battle to accept them at first. But as we walk through those dark times trusting the Lord we can look back and see that the Lord enabled us to see that those lines were as necessary in bringing out the beauty of Christ’s character in us as the times of blessing. Therefore God is all the more glorified by such trust and willing obedience to persevere until God’s purposes and designs are realized, not only as practical, but life changing! Like the quilting process we become a beautiful work of art, but even more so because those lines were added to the design. Both aspects are necessary and therefore a rich blessing to all those who share it.

The “confining lines” for me at the moment happen to be sudden failing eyesight with the threat of total blindness and for Ross continual care-giving on top of heavy ministry responsibilities, but slowly glimmers of purpose and transformation are starting to surface to the glory of God. Choosing to trust God in

all of this seemingly very frightening trial reveals all the more the unfailing faithfulness and presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in every step of this journey. We know whatever happens in the future Jesus is already there! One day, as we trust the Lord, the “quilts” of our lives will be complete and beautiful, and dear friends so will yours! PTL We can trust Him even in the dark!

much needed clothing for the many orphans and refugees in Eastern Ukraine. What a comfort to know this! “Many Ukrainian Christians have been salt and light while suffering its worst crisis since World War II.”

So God was answering our prayers that someone would be able to help where we couldn't. PTL. Many are coming to Christ as Saviour and there is a hunger for God's Word in the midst of upheaval and deep sorrows. So please keep praying. Since 1997 one little orphan boy’s words still ring loudly in our hearts, “Please don’t forget us”. What an encouragement this news will be to many of our past volunteer sewers and workers.

HART Cont’d from Pg. 1

YOUTH FM Continued: its 20-year death grip on North Uganda. During that time, 6000 children were abducted-most taken violently from their families.”

“Government minister of disaster and relief Musa Ecweru recounts the resolve of the TESO people, ‘the rebels took 6000 of our children so we chased them into swamps & fields and bushes. Our military managed to bring 4000 of them home…’.”

As a result the dream for an historic first time ever Ugandan youth-only radio began “...when we saw the numbers…it is a staggering reality to know that over 50% of Uganda’s population is under 16 years, many without families and comprise 60% of the population.”

“Many thousands of youth are without training, education or hope... But this new radio station, Y.O.U.R. FM, a FIRST for the nation, youth would air their concerns…their passions …their dreams. And it would be a place where they could pray for each other…where they could minister to each other…where they could begin to have hope!”

A team of “recovering abductees are now training for radio. Though they were forced-marched through miles of dangerous bush…as they witnessed murder, mutilation and all manner of unspeakable acts…as they endured all this, now of the 4000, the [abuctess] have been chosen to help other youth, some who are physically free, but captive to so many other dangerous memories, thoughts and ideals!” High Adventure’s newsletter continues...“It all started with prayer for listeners. They listen to our Saviour FM broadcasts and then come to the

station for prayer. But there were so many, sometimes lined up down the hallway and outside the station, that we had to find a shady spot for prayer out of the 40C temperature; soon they were praying under the solar panels that power the station. In a short time, there were so many, that a small church began under our solar panels. And soon, when we start the Y.O.U.R. FM station ...these same panels will power their Youth Voice across the region-they too will come for prayer.” But they needed a place to sit! FHLM was privileged to offer a helping hand by sending support to supply wooden benches for the new church and those bathing the radio work in prayer. Thank you all for praying for this new church and radio station.
