FEEDBACK E-LEARNING DAY
A) Preparation for E-Learning
(+) Studywiz has sufficient facilities for the learning of ART online. Theactivities were sufficiently varied.
(+) Upload of images for quiz, gallery, discussion forum was simple andfast.
(+) This allows the Art department to get students to look at colouredimages in worksheets without having to colour print them. (Cut cost)
(+) Allow for extension of classroom activities. Students could doindependent research through assignments. (when classroomtime is limited, this is an excellent way to extend classroom
learning)
(+) Able to continue with CCA (DMA). Was a natural platform to work withstudents.
B) Actual E-Learning
(-) Server was laggy. Time was wasted on both teachers and students'end. Students were logged for even as long as 12 hours.
(-) There were activities in all subjects for all levels. Workload wasintensive. *Perhaps it would be better if we follow the day's timetable or
extend timeline of activities.
(+) Studywiz enable easy monitoring through the viewing of individual aswell as class reports
(+) Mail system allow for students to check with teachers any technical oracademic issues.
(+) Feedback of work was also made available through activities such as'test', 'gallery' & discussion forum
(+) Able to give every individual student. All students would also not feel
shy to ask teacher questions in such a learning environment.
C) Post E-Learning Day
(-) Catching up with students who have not completed activities
(-) Revise and reinforce learning done online with a verbal closure. * Couldbe resolved if students were asked to do reflection
