What is your age? After getting all of my feedback, back I found out that many of the children were of the age of 13-15 year olds.

This meant that I would be able to market my products of to them with ease.

However I decided that I wanted my target audience to be 12-13 year olds as this went hand in hand with my storyline.

The reason I chose the middle number was because this was the general audience that listen to Pop also, so I had to think of the genre as well.

What is your gender?

The gender were split in half which I could get both points of views from the different genders.

This helped me a lot as it would mean that I could also target my products at both genders.

However this would mean that all my colours would have to be chosen very carefully as I did not want to make it to pleasing to one of the genders as a favour.

How many hours of music videos do you watch on average in a day?

I realised that the children in my school listened to music on a daily basis, this meant that they are familiar with the types of music out there, and the different genres.

Furthermore I also listen to music on a daily basis which gave me an advantage as I knew the things you would normally see in a music video, this meant that I knew exactly what I wanted and the things I like in a music video which meant that I could apply my prior knowledge to my own music video.

What genre of music do you prefer?

The feedback that I got from this was very clear as many people listen to Pop and R’n’B, this made it easier for me to choose a song for my music video, as I knew what type of music young children were into.

Also because of my age group I could not use any think with expletive language as RnB sometimes contain unsuitable language. This meant I had to be very careful when picking out my song.

In a video what preferences do you have, in terms of narrative, performance etc?

Many people enjoyed watching a performance based music video rather then a narrative based.

This meant that my music video also had to contain an element of performance.

Nevertheless, I had to have both narrative and performance elements in my music video as I did not want to lose the other part of my audience.

What messages do you want a music video to represent?

This questions on the questionnaire made people think a lot as they had to put down what things they would want represented in their music video.

The general audience wanted Love as they were use to seeing this in music video’s anyways, their was a few people that wanted wealth also, I thought about how I could convey this message in a music video, and I came up with al sorts of ideas, one of them was to represent money in a good light and bad, to show the audience that wealth is not what you always want, especially if that means losing what you loved the most. Also money can not buy you everything.
