On March 16th, 2009, I began my second stay atthe Fikso Family Center. My first stay lasted from
20012005. That stay was the result of mydecision to leave a six year abusive relationship.
During that time God showed me a better way to
live through Bible studies. I learned that I wasforgiven and that obeying Gods commandments
was a much better plan for my life than the one Ihad.
This stay is the result of financial and health
problems. These problems left mydaughter and me unable to
maintain our apartment. It wasvery painful to swallow my prideand ask for help. It was my
stubbornness that took me so longto do so. Although I was checking
in again under differentcircumstances I still felt like afailure. I had forgotten that God is
always with me and will not leave.Somewhere I left Him. Being inchurch and Bible studies is
reminding me of that.God has me where He wants mewhich is a good thing for me.
In October I lost my job of four
years. That was a humbling andpainful experience but thats okay.I have faith that God has betterthings for me. Not long ago my
daughter and I were listening toPastor Heck during Bible study going through a listof negative behaviors. My daughter told me that
she remembers when I used to be like that. I feelgrateful that God has opened my eyes to Him.
My name is Donna Tucker and Im not an
alcoholic nor am I a drug addict. What I am is asinner saved by grace. That was true during my
last stay and I am thankful that it is still true.I know it always will be.

marvelous change in his heart. Proof of that
be seen in his receiving the Student of th

classes and getting into fights often, this is
incredible achievement worked out by the G

How the Lord has graced us with thiswonderful job at the Mission. To thinkthat we have the opportunity of present-ing a compassionate, saving Jesus Christ tofolks is WOW! We want to thank youfor making it all possible because of yourprayers and financial support.
You can see the pictures of our latesthires. With Glen and Mark we are movingever closer to having a staff that is able todo this work well. I am abundantly thank-ful for the diligence of our small staff forall that they have done through your ena-bling. To God be the glory.
Be in prayer, wont you please, for ourAnnual Banquet that is fast approaching on
April 17th. As usual, we will begin ourdinner at 6 p.m. and end no later than 9p.m. Reservations are required. Call the officeat 541-476-0082 to set aside your ticket.
We are utterly dependent upon the Lord, through His people and organizations, tokeep this ministry going. We receive nooperating funds from any Government orFoundation. We did receive 55% of thecost of Wagner Hall from Foundations, but no government monies have everbeen taken. This is entirely the Lordswork and to Him belongs the glory forwhat He is and has done through so many.
We rejoice in the financial faithfulness ofour Lord through so many, especially attimes like these. Do we have more thanwe need? Not yet, but we continue torest in His unfailing grace and continue toreceive all of which we have need. Thankyou for being so faithful to Him and us.
