En celebración de su trigésimo cumpleaños sobre las tablas, la compañía Delirium Teatro ha elegido un autor y una obra muy

especial para ellos por muchas razones: La Casa de Bernarda Alba de Federico García Lorca, como un canto a la libertad del individuo,

una obra de mujeres donde se muestran algunas de las grandes injusticias que, desgraciadamente, aún hoy en día nos afectan.

Delirium Teatro nos trae una adaptación de esta obra lorquiana en la que se mezclan intolerancia, violencia, sexo y muerte, con un ritmo

cercano a una historia de suspense, un thriller.

In celebration of its thirtieth birthday on the stage, the Delirium Teatro company has chosen an author and a very special piece for them for many

reasons: La Casa de Bernarda Alba by Federico García Lorca, as a song in honour of the freedom of individuals, a work by women which shows some of

the great injustices that, unfortunately, still affect us today. Delirium Teatro brings us an adaptation of this “lorquiana” work in which intolerance, violence,

sex and death are mixed at a rhythm close to a thriller.

El Óscar de Hollywood a la mejor canción, premio Goya, innumerables nominaciones a los Grammy, discos de Oro y Platino, Premio de la Música en España… El músico uruguayo Jorge Drexler no necesita presentación. El autor de Al otro lado del río regresa a Lanzaro-te para presentar las canciones de su último trabajo, Bailar en la cueva. Bajo la denominación de Guitarra y Vos, Drexler nos presenta una propuesta desnuda donde los únicos elementos a tener en cuenta serán una guitarra, un minimalista set de efectos sonoros, Jorge, sus canciones y vos (tú).

Uruguayan musician Jorge Drexler needs no further introduction. He’s the author of Al otro lado del río, and he returns to Lanzarote to present the songs of his latest album, Bailar en la cueva. y bailable que los anteriores, en el que el músico se traslada de la noche al día, del interior de los clubs nocturnos a la luz de los ritmos

latinos. Grabado junto a Carlos Narea en Madrid y la imprescindible colaboración de Javier Laguna en las letras y Jose Taboada en la

composición musical, Zenet se mueve por territorios inexplorados como el pop latino, la balada brasileña e incluso el folk. Imprescindible.

in which the musician brings his music from night clubs to Latin daytime rhythms. He recorded this album with Carlos Narea in Madrid as well as with

En el espectáculo Totó el payaso viajero, nuestro protagonista Totó acaba de aterrizar de su último viaje, ¿de dónde vendrá esta vez y qué sorpresas nos traerá? Malabares, magia, globos… pero, sobre todo, mucho pero que mucho humor es lo que trae en su maleta después de cada viaje y… ¡es que no para!, puede estar por la mañana en Australia, almorzar en el Congo y llegar por la noche a Brasil. ¡Claro que tanto soñar cansa mucho! Así que no olvides ayudarlo, pero ¡cuidado!, que alguna travesura también habrá aprendido por el camino.

In the show Totó el payaso viajero, the main character, Totó, has just landed after his latest trip. Where did he go this time, and what surprises will he bring us? Juggling, magic, balloons… but above all, lots of comedy inside his suitcase after each trip… He never stops!, he can be in Australia in the morning, in Congo for lunch, and Brazil in the evening. Devenir está asociada a las mutaciones generacionales que se producen en el tiempo, indagando en ellas a través de elementos como el cuerpo, el

movimiento y la indumentaria. Tomando como partida el origen de sus antepasados campesinos, la artista plantea interrogantes y problemáticas a

las que se enfrentan en la actualidad las nuevas generaciones. La pieza transita a través de todas las capas que surgen al deambular entre una época

y otra, entre lo adquirido y lo creado, entre tradición e inconformismo, entre pautas y rebeldía.

Devenir is linked to the generational mutations that take place over time, taking an in-depth look using elements such as the body, movement and clothing. Taking a

past in farming as starting point, the artist asks questions and sets out issues that the new generations currently continue to experience. This piece moves through all the

layers that come up at different times. A combination of what has been acquired and created, between tradition and non-conformism, and between following guidelines and

rebelling against them.

Cinco creadoras en busca de Arozarena es un proyecto expositivo de Cultura Lanzarote en el que cinco artistas vinculadas con Lanzarote – Mariola Acosta, Margarita Amat, Ángeles García Pereyra, Macarena Nieves Cáceres y Rosa Vera– realizarán un especial acercamiento plástico al universo literario de la novela Mararía del escritor tinerfeño Rafael Arozarena (1923-2009), un autor especialmente vinculado con el patrimonio literario de Lanzarote.

Cinco creadoras en busca de Arozarena is a Cultura Lanzarote exhibition project in which �ve artists linked to Lanzarote – Mariola Acosta, Margarita Amat, Ángeles García Pereyra, Macarena Nieves Cáceres and Rosa Vera– will bring a special artistic approach to the literary universe of novel Mararía by writer from Tenerife Rafael Arozarena (1923-2009), an author that is part of the literary heritage of Lanzarote.

Dentro del ciclo “Otras voces y miradas” Cultura Lanza-rote organiza un encuentro literario con Javier Ramón, con el objeto de abordar y poner en valor la producción literaria del escritor lanzaroteño, cuya obra se adscri-be a la narrativa contemporánea urbana. El encuentro se abordará a través de un nove-doso formato escénico, que combina la tertulia, la lectura de fragmentos literarios de sus obras e interpretaciones musica-les. Participarán Alfredo Díaz Gutiérrez, conocedor de la obra del escritor, junto a la narradora Isabel Cabrera y los músicos Damián Cabrera y Antonio Rodríguez.

Ismael Serrano regresa a Lanzarote con nuevo disco bajo el brazo: La llamada. Para presentar su noveno disco de estudio el

cantante madrileño está girando por toda España y Canarias en un formato más íntimo y personal: acompañado por su voz y su

guitarra, y en donde también estarán presentes sus éxitos de siempre. La llamada re�eja el momento vital del autor de La memoria

de los peces. El resultado son canciones con aires populares que invitan a la lucha social desde la esperanza, amables que pasan por su

juventud, por los cuentos y por la poesía.

the Canary Islands in a more private and personal format: accompanied only by his own voice and guitar. He, will also play his old-time classics. La llamada

shows a vital moment in the life of the author of La memoria de los peces. The results are songs with a popular touch that incite to a hopeful social struggle,

going from his youth, to story tales and poetry.

Marineros gallegos trabajan en un ferry entre la ciudad danesa de Romo y la isla alemana de Sylt. Uno de ellos compra una videocámara y comienza a grabar su vida cotidiana y la de sus compañeros en innumerables travesías en medio de un cada vez más duro invierno.

Galician sailors work in a ferry which crosses from the city of Romo (Denmark) to the island of Sylt (Germany). One of them buys a video-camera and begins to record his daily life and his fellows´s during their crossings in the middle of the inverness.

Por primera vez en su vida, víctima de problemas cardíacos, Daniel Blake, carpintero inglés de 59 años, se ve obligado a acudir a las ayudas sociales. Sin embargo, a pesar de que el médico le ha prohibido trabajar, la administración le obliga a buscar un empleo si no desea recibir una sanción. En el transcurso de sus citas al “job center”, Daniel se cruza con Rachel, una madre soltera de dos niños que tuvo que aceptar un alojamiento a 450 km de su ciudad para evitar que la envíen a un hogar de acogida.
