Character Education Topic - DiligenceFor the month of February we are emphasizing the character trait of Diligence: Focusing all of my energy to complete the tasks assigned to me. This week’s verse is I Timothy 4:15 “Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so everyone may see your progress.”

Elementary Math Parent Night, Part 2Come join us on Thursday, February 18, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the MAP Room (located in the new high school building) as we continue to learn how to use the "8-Step Model Drawing" technique to solve challenging word problems. This class will provide hands-on instruction and will be taught by our third grade teacher, Nancy Thompson. All elementary parents are invited to attend.

HS Day Trip to HoodooSponsored by the Senior ClassOn Saturday, February 13, there will be a day trip up to Hoodoo Ski Area. Students will be able to ski, snowboard, or sled with their friends for the day. There will be a $10 fee for the bus up to Hoodoo. Please pick up a permission slip in the JH/HS Office and return it to Mr. or Mrs. Peterson by noon on Thursday, February 11. Parents are welcome to come as chaperones, please email petersonl@santiam.org for more details.

Valentine Candy Grams The Senior Class will be selling Valentine's Candy Grams beginning Wednesday, February 3 in the Elementary and High School offices. For $2.00, a bag of candy and a personalized message will be delivered on campus Friday, February 12! Orders will be accepted through Wednesday, February 10.

Scrip = Tuition Scrip orders are due on MONDAY. Orders placed by 8:30 a.m. on the order day will be filled and returned to you that week by Thursday. Impact testing for HS level will be done on February 16 & 18 during 8th period. This is only necessary if you haven't participated in a sport this school year.

DMV Statement of EnrollmentAs of January 1, the DMV no longer requires students to provide a Statement of Enrollment form from their high school when applying for a permit or license. Instead parents are required to sign off on the application verifying their child’s enrollment in school.
