A Zoot suits is an voluminous suitwhich became popular during1940s.

Key features:

Wide-legged, tight-cuffed, or

"pegged," trousers (calledtramas)

A long coat with wide lapels, andwide, padded shoulders (calledthe carlango).

A felt hat (fedora with at least a3" brim) with a long feather(called a tapa or tanda)

Pointy, French-style shoes (calledcalcos).
