The State Park is a 500-acre park.

Activities include picnicking, camping, fishing, lake swimming, boating and wildlife viewing.

The Park contains more than five miles of shoreline..

The park has 11 Cabins (10 are lakefront)

Each Cabin has a small refrigerator, microwave, 2 bunk beds that sleep 4 people total (8 person max. per cabin), A/C, heat, ceiling fans, and shutters. Outside of each is a picnic table on a covered porch, a fire ring and

a waist high grill. There is a 50-amp electric service hook-up for RVs available for an additional fee.

The park also has campsites(with water hook-ups and campsites with water and electrical hook-ups)

Proposal1. Come to Lake Colorado City State Park for your family retreat.

2. On Sunday morning, come dressed as you are, to the Plainview Church of Christ at C-City – located at the entrance of the Lake.

3. You and your young men are invited to run the service.

4. If you desire, let’s have a pot luck lunch, together.

of Lake Colorado City, the Plainview Church of Christ welcomes you to worship with us.

2. It is only about one hour drive from Midland or Abilene to beautiful Lake Colorado City, on I-20.
