Family or House Project
You have a choice for this project. You may make a family tree OR a replica of your (or any) house.
Family Tree: For the family tree, you must add a minimum of 10 family members and 4 generations. The tree
could be on a poster board, but you could be more creative and make a mobile or diorama as well. In addition
to the actual tree, you must write a minimum of 4 sentences about each member of your family. You can use
any of the vocabulary we have covered so far. This means you need to include details about what your family
eats, where they live, where they are from, what they are like, and things they like to do. I expect your
sentences to be complete, however, not complicated. Everything needs to be in PRESENT tense because it is
the only verb tense you have learned so far. This means DO NOT ASK ME HOW TO SAY how do you saywas, had, went, used to be, watched, listened etc. USE WHAT YOU KNOW!!!!
House layout/ diorama: you may also choose to make a layout of a house. You could do this be making it on
a poster, or be more creative and make a model with a box (diorama). You need to include all the rooms of
your home, as well as furniture. You need to label a minimum of 10 things in the house. In addition, you must
also write a minimum of 4 sentences about each of the things your house. You can use any of the vocabulary
we have covered so far. This means you need to include details about where you do certain activities in the
house, what the house is like, and where the house is. I expect your sentences to be complete, however, not
complicated. Everything needs to be in PRESENT tense because it is the only verb tense you have learned so
far. This means DO NOT ASK ME HOW TO SAY how do you say was, had, went, used to be, watched, listened etc. USE WHAT YOU KNOW!!!!
