“Faith at Home”
Today is our end-of-the-month Family Worship where we
bring all of the children into the service as part of our
“Faith at Home” ministry. We believe it is important that
the children have opportunity to see and hear from their
parents about why, and what we do and the importance
these acts of worship have in our relationship with God and
in this way, pass our faith on to our children.
You are encouraged to be aware of families around you. If you see a parent
needing help with multiple children, please offer your help with a smile. The
nursery will be open for those who might need it (but will not be attended) and
service is being fed to television in both nurseries.
If you are visiting, your choice to join us in worship to God is a blessing to us. It is
our privilege to welcome you this morning. Our style of worship is simple, patterned
after the examples and teachings of the earliest Christians in the New Testament.

Keith’s Kitchen…
Keith’s Kitchen is an op-
portunity to support our
work in Honduras. Each
Wednesday at 6:15PM
Keith prepares a deli-
cious meal. The teens help with the
dessert, drinks and clean-up. All
proceeds go to the accounts of stu-
dents who help. There is no set fee
but your generous checks should be
made to Tampa Youth Missions.
Dessert this week: Steiner, Greaves,
Rozier.
NLBS...
You also, like living stones, are being
built into a spiritual house to be a
holy priesthood, offering spiritual
sacrifices acceptable to God through
Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:5). “God of-
ten uses simple pictures and every-
day objects to teach us the deep
truths of his kingdom. Embedded in
1 Peter is a snapshot that has the
power to turn our souls upside
down. Stones become a frame for
helping us understand and embrace
the deep, satisfying empowering
faith God longs for us to have. Rocks
rising from the pages of the Bible
teach us how to walk with God, an-
swer His call, live in His grace, sur-
render to His purpose, and experi-
ence the soaring joy, profound
peace, and overwhelming abun-
dance God has always meant for our
hearts. Living Stone faith lives in the
fullness of Jesus.”
Our Neighborhood Ladies Bible Class
will begin Wednesday, January 23rd
at 10:00AM in Fellowship-2. We will
be using the study guide entitled
“Living Stones” by Casandra Martin.
The cost for this study guide is $10.

Thank You…
A huge thank you to the teens and
adults who helped with the children’s
Christmas Party last weekend. The
night was filled with lots of fun, as ap-
proximately 30 of our little ones en-
joyed the story of Jesus’ birth, games,
crafts, Christmas lights, a visit from
Santa, and dinner. Thank you again to
all who helped.

Youth Rally...
This year’s youth rally will be January
25-26 and will feature B. Chris Simpson
as our keynote speaker. We will need
volunteers for many things, so please
take the time now to plan accordingly
so that you might be able to help!
There will be a sign-up on the board
outside Matt’s office for our own teens
who would like to attend the rally. As
always, it is free for the youth group
members who bring a friend.
Change for Children Campaign...
We will be wrapping up the Change for
Children Campaign in January so you
have only a few weeks to fill your cans.
The deadline for turning them in is Sun-
day, January 20. Lisa Snelling will be
collecting them or you can drop them
off in the church office #1. If your can
is full and you would like to start an-
other one, we have extras in the cabi-
net in the lobby or see Lisa or Shirley.
Lisa will be turning them in to Mt. Dora
Christian Home & Bible School after
January 20, 2013.
