  • Admission RequirementsFirst-Time Freshmen Minimum RequirementsHumboldt State University (HSU) will be utilizing a multi-factor admission process to admit the incoming freshmen class for fall 2021. All of the information needed to make Humboldt State University (HSU) admission decisions will be supplied by the Cal State Apply application and high school transcripts.

All HSU applicants will be reviewed using the following general multi-factor criteria:

Completion of CSU A-G Requirements  Weighted A-G GPA Documented Military and Veteran status  Participation in educational programming such as, but not limited to, AVID, TRIO Programs,

Tribal/Native American Support, and After-School programs Participated in Foster Youth Services

HSU will also take into consideration the following for California Residents during the admission process.

Applicants residing in Humboldt County and HSU Service Region Applicants participating in HSU supported partnerships or promise program

Non-California Residents residing within a Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) participating state and Non-WUE states will also be taken into consideration within the admission process.

Transfer Student Minimum RequirementsUPPER DIVISION TRANSFERS
