Ian Boyd of Seton Hall University will explore the contemporary resonance of G.K. Chesterton’s prophetic voice. The seminal 1908 work of British philosopher, novelist, short story writer, Christian apologist, social activist, cartoonist, and literary critic defies genres. Deeply personal, theological, and engaged in questions of faith and culture, Chesterton’s voice is as relevant as ever today. G.K. Chesterton Orthodoxy and two Father Brown Stories Hospitality Week kicks off with a discussion led by students that explores themes of openness, inclusiveness, and hospitality across world faith traditions. Y on Earth author, Aaron William Perry explores themes of ecological health and well-being. Co-sponsored by the Institute of Environmental Sustainability. Faith In Focus The Ultimate Sacrifice (2017) October 24 6:00 P.M. DAMEN CINEMA, LSC Documentary about Juozas Vitkus, a Lithu- anian officer who resisted Russian occupa- tion in 1944. Post film discussion led by special guest speaker, Fr. Gintarus Vitkus, S.J., grandson of Col. Vitkus and Provincial of Jesuit Province of Lithuania & Latvia.
