Since our founding in 2008, Faith Moves has discovered that dance is a vehicle of

healing, deliverance, joy and restoration in the lives of all who experience it with us.

For us, every move celebrates Christ, every event invites you to face your truths, and

every experience encourages you to go forward in faith. Each encounter will leave you

in awe of how God speaks through dance – and in confidence that every “body” is able.

Founder/Artistic Director – Angelique D. Murray

A native of Orlando, Florida – Angelique began studying dance

over 25 years ago with the foundational basis of ballet, tap,

jazz, and acrobatics. She later trained in disciplines including

lyrical, modern, pointe, hip hop, lindyhop, and African dance.

Her training and education offered opportunities for growth via

local/regional/national workshops, conventions, competitions,

and shows – all undergirded by guidance of various professional choreographers and

instructors in the southeast region as well as New York. Love for the art, its contribution

to the building of character & esteem, and the ability use the skill as an instrument of

storytelling and exhortation, led to the desire of offering the gift to the masses. (More…)

Each workshop and choreography

session is taught by an instructor with years of dance

knowledge and experience, which is key to building a strong team that goes

forth in excellence.

We are an ever-evolving, multi-faceted company that is designed to go

wherever led, to bring a challenging message of hope after life takes you on

an unexpected ride of ups, downs, pit stops, and breakdowns. Our

expectation is that you will have a God-experience. When you attend a

show, live in the moment and let your heart go! When you take a workshop

– move, leap and turn, and allow your personal testimony to unfold. If we’re

life changing story. Our purpose is to affect the attitude, change the

choices made, and to create a shift in the atmosphere of any space that

Faith Moves is for the saved, unsaved, undecided and in between. We aim

to reach the lost for the kingdom of God; we’re also called, however, to

rebuild the believer and those in ministry, that are running on empty. Find

More About the Founder (From Cover Page) Angelique began teaching and choreographing at age 15, and continued

throughout her collegiate tenure at Florida A&M University. Upon

completion of her Master’s degree in Business Marketing, she settled in

Atlanta, and continued to teach at various studios and participated in local

and regional performances, and special events. In a short amount of time, it

became apparent that the Lord had bigger plans for her dance training and

educational background.

In 2005, Angelique’s spiritual journey took flight, and as she grew to know

the Lord more, her dance focus became one of ministry to a generation that

“needs to know that Jesus loves them”. Angelique has choreographed

works that have been seen by audiences of thousands, and those as

personal as one’s homegoing service. She says it is a privilege and a

blessing to be able to do what she loves, first for the Lord, and secondly in

anticipation of how she can be a blessing to others.

based on the needs of your company/organization.

Dance Workshops – Our workshops will enhance your existing skills in dance to support your

goals of becoming more technically trained. Additional dance disciplines include: creative

movement (ages 3-6), ballet, pageantry/flags, inspirational hip hop, mime, stretch/flexibility,

tap, and beginner/intermediate stunts and tumbling.

Choreography/Consultation – Many times dance groups can become stagnant because all of the

pieces start to look alike. For some teams, you may not even know where to begin! Allow Faith

Moves to come and create a dance for your team based on your vision. We will stretch your

expectation and imagination…probably your body too!

Seminars/Panel Discussions – Many companies and organizations can benefit from a new way

of teaching and a new way of learning. Dance is growing in its popularity in being used for

therapy as well as a means of expressing feelings, when words aren’t adequate. Our prepared

topics are hosted in a two-hour session that address key topics including women’s lives,

understanding youth challenges, health awareness, conversations on mental and emotional
