Program Overview
An academia/industry partnership where educators work within aviation
organizations to mutually benefit both parties and provide an enhanced learning
experience for students

Program Goal
To Enhance the partnership between Education and Industry and make
both elements stronger through the sharing of information, knowledge
and expertise.

General Requirements
• AABI-accredited program full-time faculty• Recommendation by department chair, dean or equivalent
Industry Partners – AABI Corporate or Trade Association Members or Governmental Agencies required

Program Administration
Managed and administered by a Standing Committee selected by the AABI Chairman.
AABI President will supervise, guide and support the committee’s work.

• Improve mentorship of Cape Air/ JetBlue University Gateway Students
• Work with a larger Part 121 regional airline (Horizon Air) to see what differences may exist
