THEME HEALTHCARE AND WELLBEING

Health-care and wellbeing are central concerns in all our lives. Happiness, health, inclusion, empowerment, poverty alleviation and environment are components of this larger purpose. The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India has committed at several junctures about wellness of the citizen of this country.

The Union Government in its 2018-19 annual budget has announced perhaps the world’s largest Health Protection Scheme providing a health insurance cover of Rs. 5 lakh per family per year.

In its pursuit to complement Government of India’s initiative on Healthcare Ajeenkya DY Patil University, Pune is organising an International Faculty Development Program (IFDP) on the multidisciplinary theme “Healthcare and Wellbeing”. The IFDP is being organised during June 6th and 8th, 2018.

The objective of IFDP is to have an overview of healthcare from all aspects such as design of healthcare services, technologies and products, development of academic research curriculum aligned to healthcare and wellbeing, and practical explanations of current and future challenges while implementation. We are inviting participants from the entire health and social care sector organisations/groups to share their experiences.

Guidelines for full paper All full paper submissions must have a title page, sub-theme of the paper, the name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s), complete address of all authors including phone and e-mail address.

The title of the paper must be written in bold capital letters using 14pt Times New Roman font. Although all sub-headings should also be in capital letters using plain 12 pt Times New Roman font. All authors will receive an acknowledgment of the full papers submission, and registration payment by e-mail, after the receipt of the same.

Research papers selected by panel of experts will be published in the ISSN journal.

The selected papers from the ones presented during the program will be published in the ISSN journal. The author of selected papers have to register for the IFDP and present the papers. Paper presentation is not mandatory for attending IFDP.Participation certificate will be given to all the participants.Attendance for three days is mandatory for all the participants.No TA and DA will be provided to the participants.

Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) has been established under Govt. Act III of 2015 of Government of Maharashtra and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university has 8 schools, which run 43 programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. ADYPUs programs balance global viewpoints with local reality, emerging technology with traditional wisdom, and existing knowledge with revolutionary thinking. To develop new solutions that elevate the quality of life for every Indian by utilizing the new knowledge created, ADYPUs internationalisation initiative is geared towards incorporating varying intellectual, ethnic, and cultural elements to the campus environment, encouraging different voices, thoughts, ideas, and opinions. In its pursuit of continuing excellence ADYPU is conducting an International level Faculty Development Programme on the multidisciplinary theme “Health-care and wellbeing” from 6th to 8th June, 2018. Speakers of National and International repute share their research experiences with the participants.
