PGDM Finance Students experience a Live Trading

Session by nancial expert Prof. Premsundar Iyengar

On 13th march 2015 a live trading session was

conducted by Prof. Premsundar iyengar.

The NSE Market was opened at Rs.8873 at 9:15AM which

was higher than the previous day’s close and it was the

indication that the market is in bull mode. Two days

before the live trading the market had entered in to bear

mode and the day was a narrow 7 day. Therefore it was

expected that market may go up or down to a great

extent.

At the end of the rst half an hour the market went down

to Rs.8848 and in the 4th half an hour the market lost

about 46 points again and reached Rs.8802. The volume

traded had also been increasing for every half an hour.

The market was analyzed by using ABCD analysis; this is

the technique from Prof. Premsundar Iyengar’s own

experience. By this technique one who is interested in

trading and wants to trade can know when to sell and

buy. he explained in detail every part of this type of

analysis and enlightened the students on the methods

to maximize prots and minimize losses in intraday

trading.

Keeping this philosophy in mind, The Toastmasters Club

organized the Area-level International Public Speaking

Competition held at IFIM Auditorium on 27th March

2015. IFIM B School was proud to be a host and learn the

art of communication and leadership designed to help
