BLOCK ASSEMBLY

1. Using D and E HST’s, sew together units as shown in the diagram below. Make (4). Square blocks to 8”.

QUILT ASSEMBLY

1. Sew 2-1/2” x 38-1/2” G strips to opposite sides of the panel. Sew 2-1/2” x 27-1/2” G strips to the top and bottom.

2. Sew 8” x 42-1/2” B strips to opposite sides of the quilt center. Sew HST blocks to both ends of the 8” x 27-1/2” B strips, noting orientation. Sew to the top and bottom.

3. Sew 2-1/2” x 57-1/2” G strips to opposite sides of the quilt. center. Sew 2-1/2” x 46-1/2” G strips to the top and bottom.

4. Sew 4-1/2” x 61-1/2” C strips to opposite sides of the quilt. Sew 4-1/2” x 54-1/2” C strips to the top and bottom.

FINISHING

Cut batting and backing 3” larger than top on all sides. Layer backing, batting and top together and baste or pin. When quilting is completed, trim excess batting and backing. Bind using (7) 2-1/4” x WOF F strips.
