Ezekiel’s first sermon lasted from August 7, 593 B.C. to about October 12, 592 B.C. (431 Days – Over 14 months)
King Zedekiah was on the throne – false prophets were predicting the rise of Judah and fall of Babylon – pesky Jeremiah said the opposite (Jeremiah 50-51). Loyal Jews were helping plan revolt.
This sermon was delivered about three years before the final siege of Jerusalem. Jerusalem was under siege from about January 588 B.C. to July 10, 586 B.C. - about 30 months

Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy
against him 3 and say, thus says
the Lord GOD, Behold, I am
against you, O Gog, prince of
Rosh, Meshech and Tubal.
Gog from Magog
Leader of ? Ezekiel refers to Gog three times (38:2, 38:3 and 39:1). Rosh can be a place or a title. If Rosh is a place it has historically been thought to be Southern Russia. Gog, Prince of Russia.
But “Rosh” in Hebrew most often means chief or head. (For example Rosh Hashanah means Chief/Head of the Year – first day of the year). If Rosh is a title, Gog is the Chief, or chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. (“Rosh” is translated head or chief 423 times in the Bible)
