initial deposit (the room hire rate)• All initial deposits are non-refundable• Even though the Northern Suite is Private hire

we still operate Challenge 25 and will not tolerate underage drinking No ID – No Sale

• We do not allow external catering – the only exception being a celebration cake

• All drinks have to be purchased from the Great Northern – we do not offer a Corkage option

• We do not accept bookings for 18th Birthday Parties

• Any final balances must be paid one week prior to your function (with the exception of Funeral wakes)

We understand what a difficult time this can be for you and your family. We have put together a bereavement package with the aim of making this day as simple and stress free as possible. The Northern Suite provides a comfortable and private venue for family and friends.

The bereavement package includes;

• Room Hire for the Northern Suite for up to 5 hours from the time of arrival (over 5 hours a surcharge will apply)

• Table Linen• Fully Staffed Bar• Background music• Unlimited Tea and Coffee for your guests• Hand carved ham, Cheddar, egg mayonnaise, tuna

mayonnaise sandwiches all on a mixture of white and brown bread and dressed with salad, quiche (v), sausage rolls, pork pie and crisps

Deluxe Bereavement Package ������ £10�95 per head(minimum 45 guests)

In addition to all that is included on our Bereavement Package, the Deluxe Bereavement Package adds the following to your buffet; battered chicken bites, lamb samosas and vegetable samosas (v)

The Northern Suite is our latest addition and allows us to cater for all types of occasions.

As with all aspects of the Great Northern, we take our guest experience seriously and will strive to make your function one to remember.

The Northern Suite can accommodate up to 60 guests seated and 80-90 guests with standing space (dependant of room set up and layout).
