Walks and environment Foremark is ideal for walkers with a variety of trails which take you along the reservoir, through the woodland areas down to Carver’s Rocks, a site of special scientific interest. Although there is no circular route around the reservoir there are 4 lovely walking trails for you to enjoy. Butterfly (Blue) - The short 3/4 mile walk takes you around the main areas of the site. Easy going and no steps. Wren (Red) - 1 ½ miles. A longer walk with increased slopes but easy walking. Badger (Black) - 3 ¼ miles. The longest circular walk does have some steps, gates and steep slopes. Woodland (Green) - 1.4 miles. This non circular walk takes you down to Carvers Rock Nature Reserve. Some steps, styles and steep slopes. If you’re feeling more adventurous why not try our orienteering trail. Maps are available from the kiosk. Activities for all Our play area is great for little ones to let off steam. Don’t forget to try out our wild play area. Burton Sailing Club are based here at Foremark, offering training and memberships for budding sailors. Visit burtonsailingclub.co.uk for urther information.
