FinTech Network constantly keeps connected to finance professionals; providing a platform to discuss new innovations and disruptions in the market. In 2015, we began looking at how new technologies were affecting the industry. As a result, we quickly discovered not only the major uncertainty around DLT but the vast applications of the technology within finance.

In order to help the industry capitalize on the opportunities that blockchain technology could offer, we ran two conferences for the European and Asia Pacific markets. Following this, we decided to bring this series of events to North America. The aim of BFC NA is to help FSIs understand DLT and how to best advance this technology from POC to commercialization.

BFC NA will offer a platform for industry professionals to discuss these important challenges through keynote presentations; panel discussions, workshops and networking opportunities. Delegates will learn the most effective ways to advance this technology and streamline blockchain adoption. Highlights include:

• Digitization: Hear BBVA, Digital Asset and Clovyr discuss how to move data to the digital form understanding when private or public blockchains should be used

• Technical Considerations: Understand how Microsoft, Nuco and R3 are helping financial institutions overcome the technical challenges of DLT

• Tokenization: Consider the risks and opportunities in the crypto asset space by reviewing the work being done by Northern Trust and Fidelity

Although there are still many considerations when deciding how to best move forward with distributed ledger technologies; I hope that BFC NA will help you and your business on the road to Blockchain production.

I’d love for you to join us in Boston, MA to be involved in these discussions.
