Page 15: Exodus 32:33:6 Main truth: God’s leaders are developed through times alone with GOD and thru challenging circumstances

Application1. No excuse for Wrong

It is always wrong to do wrong. Circumstances must not be taken into consideration. If the act is wrong, you must repudiate it saying, “How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9

Are there patterns of behavior in your life?

2. Consequences of sin The consequences of sin are always more serious than first

supposed. Satan told Eve: you will not surely die (Gen 3:4). Through that

one act, misery & death passed upon human race.

Application3. Importance of Intercession

If you love people you will intercede for them, just as Moses did.

Your prayers are not without value. God hears them and answers them. (Give Ate tess “our Moses”, your prayer requests!)

So pray for other people, plead for the lost, for the sinners. James 5:16, the prayers of righteous persons are “powerful

and effective”.

4. Response to the Savior There is only one mediator between God and man, the man

Christ Jesus (1 timothy 2:5)
