Execu&ve Summary
iFlexMe is a smart phone App that engages and rewards members for using its free instant messaging and free phone call pla9orm. Members allow access to their demographic (age, gender, educa=on, etc.) and psychographic (interests and commonali=es) informa=on by signing up through Facebook (iFlexMe is the only App of its kind embedded in the most popular social network). In return, members get points that can be redeemed for exclusive offers on products and services from iFlexMe’s partners. The offers are designed to encompass the members’ demographics, psychographics and loca=on. iFlexMe is different to companies such as Skype, Whatsapp, Viber or Tango because it’s more than just a u=lity company. iFlexMe is an interac=ve community of members who get not just the benefit of free texts and calls to each other; they are rewarded for their ac=ve par=cipa=on and loyalty. iFlexMe is different to companies such as Groupon, Living Social or Quidco because the offers in iFlexMe Rewards are tailored to members’ interests and demographics rather than broadcast ‘deals of the day’. In addi=on, iFlexMe members redeem points they earn for ac=vity within the App (such as invi=ng friends to join, using the service). This ensures that iFlexMe’s partners’ brands aren’t de-‐valued by simple discoun=ng.

iFlexMe solves a challenge many digital marketeers are faced with as people adopt their smart device as their primary tool for accessing the internet. Screens are smaller and ad space is difficult to incorporate into the user interface. By engaging with the iFlexMe community through the reward program rather than tradi=onal digital banner ads, adver=sers can ensure that they are not only reaching customers on their ‘afen=on-‐consuming’ mobile device but that they’re also reaching customers who are demographically, psychographically and geographically relevant.
