What: Fundraiser for American Cancer Society

When: April 25th-26th 6 p.m.-2 a.m.

Where: Memorial Stadium

$10 registration fee

The Big Event

• Saturday, April 12, 2014

• 10am-2pm • Common tasks: raking leaves,

trimming trees, cleaning houses, and planting plants at Lawrence schools,

community organizations, and public spaces.• Sign up at back or room and I’ll

take care of registration!

• Replant Mount Oread• Each year campus loses trees

due to removal, disease, and age at a faster rate than they are being replaced.

• KU Rain Garden• Native Kansas plants filter the

runoff from the Rec Center roof and sidewalks.

Extraordinary EWBers

Professor Bob Lyon is a professional engineer with a lifetime of experience from living in Russia to being a Kansas State Senator.

David Hoffman has numerous experiences with EWB as he has worked extensively with Missouri S&T as well as Florida International University. He is also an award winning professional engineer with a lifetime of personal experiences.

Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Bethany Foran has extensive EWB experience and is a civil engineer currently working at Black and Veatch. She is also knowledgeable of five different languages!
