About Events by Tasha and Team Tasha

Events by Tasha is proudly in our fifth year of business. We specialize in extravagant Hindu wedding ceremonies and receptions, needless to say we do not shy away from any celebration. In our five year journey we’ve brought to life any budget with indoor weddings, outdoor

weddings, milestone birthdays, retirement parties, baby showers, new homes, corporate parties and graduations.

Tasha Singh, Owner and founder of Events by Tasha has been planning events as a hobby since 2006. In 2011 did she decided to transform her hobby into a career. Tasha went on to become a Certified Wedding and Event Planner through Lovegevity University, a

member of the American Association of Certified Wedding Planners and is currently pursuing a certification in Destination Wedding and Events. “Tasha’s Team” consists of three other certified wedding and event planners and specializing in corporate events and destination celebrations. By the time our ten year anniversary approaches We would like to all be equal partners and planning extravagant wedding

across Northern California.

When Tasha became a business owner she vowed to continue giving back to her community and her future team members communities. At the conclusion of ten successful events Events by Tasha reaches out to the American Cancer Society and any local regional directors of

Relay For Life for a list of their events. From there we collectively choose one of our three wedding packages to be raffled off with all raffle proceeds going directly to the American Cancer Society. We’re proud to say we’ve successfully excited over fifty events, raffled off five

weddings packages and have donated over $18,000 to the American Cancer Society.

We’d like to share (years later) a funny memory. In June of 2013 we planned a wedding in Dana Point, CA. Our Bride and Groom opted to save money by using a grocery store instead of a professional wedding cake bakery. The grocery store cake decorator assured the bride she’d be saving money with equal quality and she was confident placing in their order. Disaster struck 30 minutes after delivery. A family

member noticed the cake was leaning to the right, within the hour the cake was completely lop sided. We called the grocery store, they informed us the decorator was off for the day and unavailable. We spoke with a manager who sent over 2 sheets cakes for the

inconvenience. In the mean time, the photographer wanted pictures of the cake. Our team assessed the situation, decided to carefully pull off of the layers, insert paper towel dowels with aluminum foil inside (for reinforcement) and layer the cake back up. They added flowers to

the cake’s imperfections and adjusted the cake cutting time to after the ceremony. And Wa-la! Needless to say we do not recommend any grocery stores for tiered cakes!
