  • 7 Module EVDrive-train(tm) architecture that, depending on vehicle application, can be either BEV (all battery) or PHEV (uses REX for meet ICE range capabilities but at lower cost of operations) replace the internal combustion engine & all related sub-systems, e.g. gas tank, exhaust, etc. (ICE plus) with an Electric Drive System that delivers performance that matches or exceeds the original ICE system. CANbus OEM ECU vehicle systems interface.

    Advanced vehicle features support in proprietary VCU Module #4 e.g. comm and diagnostics both onboard and remote, AWD mode control, interface and mgt. of vehicle ECU functions, etc.

    The fast charger is wired at fleet charging stations into ~80A 240VAC circuit/breaker for its source power and will charge this powertrain from near zero to full in under 2 hours - typically SOC of battery pack will never be allowed to get to less than 10% SOC so typical 1 hour fast charges will be the norm. (Charger can be upgraded in 3kW increments for larger packs and faster charging times)The fast charger has a J1772 plug head that plugs into the J1772 socket on the EVDrive-Train converted land cruiser - cable stored in rack unit on bottom shelf. EVDrive unique, is the dual AC/DC J1772 plug/socket to allow either 18kW external DC fast charging or slow charging via onboard 3kW charger.EVDrive-Train conversion also works with any standard J1772 charger that is tied to 240VAC and delivers 240VAC to the on-board charger by using EVDrive proprietary switch module which allows switching between ac/dc inputs controlled by the VCU all using same plug - the SAE and others use 2 separate plugs, one for AC and one for DC fast charging.
