TH E NEW HIGHL IGHT
CONCEPT OF L IGHTNESS –NATURE I S OUR MODEL .
Modern society is characterised by greater mobility and demand for new contemporary design.
The EUROLIGHT® lightweight building board is a brand new wood based panel that opens up a
new Dimension for furniture construction and interior fittings.
A modern wood board material low in weight, with increased stability which allows creative freedom
in design is increasingly required. The aim to reduce the maximum weight possible without losses in
load capacity and other technical aspects is only possible with a sandwich board.
EUROLIGHT® is the answer to the steady rise in raw materials, energy and logistics costs.
EUROLIGHT® offers designers the chance to create modern, contemporary and sophisticated design
ideas with ease. EUROLIGHT® sets new standards for lightweight constructions.

Fittings can be used on standard chipboards with 8 mm surface layers
as are commonly used in furniture construction.
Conventional fitting systems can be attached
using special sockets or special screws.
Fittings can be attached within the frame area as with standard
chipboards. Special sockets are required for attachments within
frameless area (e.g. drawer runners).
F I T T ING T ECHNOLOGY FOR L IGHTWE IGHT BOARDS
EUROLIGHT ® – “The new dimension in lightweight construction” is supplemented with sophisticated fitting
systems for all furniture construction demands.
The frameless areas within the board should be treated as a completely frameless board. The fittings can
be attached depending on the thickness of the surface layer.

EUROFORM® postforming
EUROLIGHT® worktops can be postformed with aframe width of 38 mm
for each model. The raisedand rebated frame provides a discrete edge
and a high level of impact resistance. Damp is repelled by the reverse-
side PUR hot-melt adhesive sealing and the UV paint finish.
EUROL IGHT ® WORKTOPS
POSTFORMED AND WI TH S ECUR I TY AND ACCENT EDG INGS
EGGER security edging
EGGER security edgings are specifically designed in terms of colour, grain,
surface texture and shine to match the EURODEKOR® and EUROFORM®
range. You can use EUROLIGHT® worktops with 10 and 38 mm longitudinal
frames. Depending on the board thickness 1.5 mm EGGER safety edgings
provide high-level impact resistance and enable clean radius milling. The
minimum quantity depends on the board thickness and the selected decor.
EGGER accent edging
For a bold, distinctive feel, choose EGGER accent edging. With different
looks including glass and metal it gives a great contrast to wood.
In particular you get an impression of depth and a unique 3-D effect
which will impress your design-orientated customers.
EGGER accent edgings can be used with EUROLIGHT® worktops with
10 and 38 mm longitudinal frames.

a water-resistant adhesive or PU system is recommended for gluing.
Edgings can be applied without a frame.
