Yngve AbrahamsenSenior Researcher and Head of Section, Economic ForecastingKOF Swiss Economic Institute (the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), ZurichYngve is an internationally recognised and widely published economist at the KOF, which specialises inanalysis of and projections for the Swiss economy.

Petter EikenMD Rom Eiendom ASPetter has wide experience of both the real estate and construction sectors and is a former CEO of Skan-ska Norway; and, previously, was Assistant CEO at both Veidekke ASA and i Skanska AB. Today, he headsup Rom Eiendom, which is one of the leading real estate companies in Norway with a prime focus ondeveloping property at or close to railway stations.

Annette HughesDirector, DKM Economic Consultants, Ireland Annette joined DKM in 1993, having previously worked for John Laing plc, BP Ireland and as a lecturer ineconomics at the University of Limerick. DKM is one of the longest established economic research rms in Ireland, with particular expertise in construction and property, energy, transport, demographics andeconomic impact analysis.

Dr Bogdan AtanasiuHead of Research, Buildings Performance Institute Europe (BPIE), Brussels An electrical engineer by training, with a PhD in renewable energy, Bogdan has enjoyed a long career inresearch and development; and, specically, his focus has been on energy efciency in buildings and on-site renewable energy generation. Currently he is senior policy expert and head of research at BuildingsPerformance Institute Europe (BPIE), a not-for-prot think and do tank dedicated to improving the energyperformance of buildings across Europe.

Tony WilliamsCEO, Building Value Ltd A portfolio career in investment banking and industry preceded Tony founding Building Value in 2002. It isan independent advisory business with particular expertise in construction, building materials, real estateand support services, with ofces in the UK (London) and Sweden (Mora). In addition, Tony holds a numberof Non Executive Directorships in China and the UK.

Oebele VriesVice-director of EIB (Economic Institute for Construction and Housing), Amsterdam Oebele is a well-known personality at EUROCONSTRUCT conferences and the EIB foundation is a leadingand independent Dutch economic research institute specialising in analysis of the built environment and both the economic and social issues related to it.

Harald Serck-HanssenGroup Executive Vice President, DNB (Norway) Harald studied at the University of Stirling in Scotland and at INSEAD. He worked initially at Stolt-NielsenShipping and Odfjell Group before joining DNB in 1998. Here Harald ran a number of departments withinShipping, Offshore and Logistics (SOL) before heading up the Division. In January 2013, as a Group EVP, hebecame Head of Large Corporates and International.

The Fjord City Project

Norway's largest city is also Europe's fastestgrowing capital and it is undergoing thelargest and most controversial makeover sincethe 17th Century.

Nowhere is Oslo's redevelopment more obviousthan from the top of Norway's National OperaHouse in Bjorvika and on Thursday, the 12thof June, there will be a guided tour to this vantage point and around the neighbourhood.

Bjorvika is a key area within the Fjord City Project which seeks to transform the Oslowaterfront from industrial to urban use and enhance connections between the City andthe Fjord.
