WHAT YOU’LL LEARN • Examine ethical issues in your major or in other interdisciplinary classes such as “Environmental Ethics,” “Culture and Ethics of Food,” “How we Die,” “Engaged Citizenship” and “Ethics in U.S. Foreign Policy” • Become a critical and reflective thinker on diverse ethical issues and explore civic engagement through service-learning opportunities
How can I use an Ethics minor?Not only is the study of ethics part of good citizenship, but every career field has an ethical compo-nent, making this minor valuable to everyone—regardless of their academic interests. Students can also pair this minor with specific disciplines and/or graduate studies to become:
• an ethics officer• a compliance officer• a human resources officer• a professor• a lawyer• a paralegal• a human rights advocate
