Below 90 points unsatisfactory (NB)

The judges have to provide a score at each position. The total score is the sum of all positions. All

positions, except for position 2 can achieve half points. An exhibit is excluded from scoring if

postions 1 or 3 achieved less than 15 points, postitions 4, 5 or 6 are below 11 points or position 7 is

below 3 points.

Each exclusion has to be explained and countersigned by a second judge.

Scores between 97.0 and 100 (HV) also need to be countersigned by a second judge.

When awarding the top prizes, exhibits or collections with equal score are places according to the

following criteria:

1. The higher score in position 1

2. The higher sum of positions 4, 5 and 6.

3. The higher score in position 3

The winner of the first prize may also be awarded other prizes.

Reasons for exclusions:

Castrates, amyphrodites or rabbits without testicles are excluded from scoring in position 1.

Exhibits that show obvious signs of sickness or parasite infestation are to be removed from the show

by the organisers or on orders on the judges. The score card of such exhibits will be marked as OB

(Ohne Bewertung / excluded from judging) written diagonally across the score card. The judge will

enter the reason for exclusion into Position 7.

Attempts to mislead judges by changing the appearance of an exhibit, e.g. colouring toe nails,

removal, cutting or dying of miscoloured fur will lead to disqualification.

27. EE – Europaschau Leipzig

The 27th European Show for Poultry, Pigeons, Rabbits, Cavies and Birds will

open its doors at the Neue Messe Fairgrounds at Leipzig between Dec. 7 –

Dec. 9 2012. Host club will be the Leipzig Poultry Society of 1869 supported by

some 350 helpers from local clubs. We want Leipzig 2012 to be the biggest

show in history and hope to see exhibitors from all 28 member states of the

EE. Let us conjoin our forces to make something great happen! Visitors from 5

continents will be at Leipzig – Leipzig 2012 will be an unequalled event of the

European fancy. Easily accessible, the Neue Messe Fairgrounds at Leipzig are

at the heart of Europe and provide a unique atmosphere for such a hallmark

event. Only at Leipzig can you compete for the prestigious title of a European

Group Champion or European Individual Champion – an all-time high in the

career of any fancier. The competition apart, meeting new friends from all

over Europe is of course the prime objective of the event. The visitors will

have the opportunity to take part in day trips and workshops organised by the

Leipzig Fairgrounds. Further information will be made available starting in

January 2012 at www.europaschau-leipzig.de and www.lipsia-

rassegefluegel.de. We invite all fanciers in Europe to be part of the European

Show Leipzig 2012 as visitors and participants.
