3. Regulations/legal limitations

There are no limitations about esoteric consultations on websites, radio and television.

Telecommunications in Brazil has prohibit phone services such as phone-sex, but it is possible to set up a contract with the local telecom (most likely telefonica) and set up an agreement for a service called “additional service cost line”. The information about this service is legal, but Telefonica does not give details about it on their website or trough the phone, one of their sales consultant has to visit the company, understand the project and make an offer on the type of available products.

› TV Globo – Very expensive and not the right choice for an esoteric show.

› TV SBT – It may be an option, but probably the show would be forecasted late at night (after midnight)

› TV Record – It is an evangelic channel, so they have prejudice against esoteric topics
