1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before the installation and use of the ap-pliance, carefully read the supplied in-structions. The manufacturer is not re-sponsible if an incorrect installation anduse causes injuries and damages. Alwayskeep the instructions with the appliancefor future reference.

1.1 Children and vulnerablepeople safety

WARNING!Risk of suffocation, injury or per-manent disability.

• Do not let persons, children included,with reduced physical sensory, reducedmental functions or lack of experienceand knowledge use the appliance. Theymust have supervision or instruction forthe operation of the appliance by a per-son who is responsible for their safety.

• Do not let children play with the appli-ance.

• Keep all packaging away from children.

• Keep all detergents away from children.

• Keep children and pets away from theappliance door when it is open.

1.2 Installation

• Remove all the packaging.

• Do not install or use a damaged appli-ance.

• Do not install or use the appliancewhere the temperature is less than 0°C.

• To prevent injury or damage, make surethat the appliance is secured to adja-cent safe structures.

• Do not drill into the sides of the appli-ance otherwise damage to hydraulicand electrical components may occur.

• Instructions for the installation, the furni-ture door and the water connection arein this user manual and also in the sep-arate template that is provided with thisappliance. Follow carefully these in-structions.

Electrical connection

WARNING!Risk of fire and electrical shock.

• The appliance must be earthed.

• Make sure that the electrical informationon the rating plate agrees with the pow-er supply. If not, contact an electrician.

• Always use a correctly installed shock-proof socket.

• Do not use multi-plug adapters and ex-tension cables.

• Make sure not to cause damage to themains plug and to the mains cable.Should the mains cable need to be re-placed, this must be carried out by ourService centre.

• Connect the mains plug to the mainssocket only at the end of the installa-tion. Make sure that there is access tothe mains plug after the installation.

• Do not pull the mains cable to discon-nect the appliance. Always pull themains plug.

• Do not touch the mains cable or themains plug with wet hands.

• Test the appliance. Run a quick wash-ing program and ensure that the appli-ance fills with water, washes and drainswith no leaks.

Water connection

• Make sure not to cause damage to thewater hoses.

• Before you connect the appliance tonew pipes or pipes not used for a longtime, let the water flow until it is clean.

• The first time you use the appliance,make sure that there is no leakage.

• The water inlet hose has a safety valveand a sheath with an inner mains cable.

• If the water inlet hose is damaged, im-mediately disconnect the mains plugfrom the mains socket. Contact theService to replace the water inlet hose.

1.3 Use

• This appliance is intended to be used inhousehold and similar applications suchas:

– Farm houses.

– By clients in hotels, motels and otherresidential type environments.

– Bed and breakfast type environ-ments.

WARNING!Risk of injury, burns, electricalshock or fire.

• Do not change the specification of thisappliance.

• Put knives and cutlery with sharp pointsin the cutlery basket with the pointsdown or in a horizontal position.

• The appliance can release hot steam ifyou open the door while a program op-erates.

• Do not keep the appliance door openwithout supervision to prevent to fall onit.

• Do not sit or stand on the open door.

• Obey the safety instructions from themanufacturer of the dishwasher deter-gent to prevent burns to eyes, mouthand throat.

• Only put detergent in the dispenser be-fore you start a program.

• Check that the detergent dispenser isempty after completion of the program.

• Do not drink and play with the water inthe appliance.

• Do not remove the dishes from the ap-pliance until the program is completed.There can be detergent on the dishes.

• Make sure the dispenser is empty afterthe completion of the program.

• Do not put flammable products or itemsthat are wet with flammable productsin, near or on the appliance.

• Do not use water spray and steam toclean the appliance.

1.4 Disposal

WARNING!Risk of injury or suffocation.

• Disconnect the appliance from themains supply.

• Cut off the mains cable and discard it.

• Remove the door catch to prevent chil-dren and pets to get closed in the ap-pliance.

2.1 Beam-on-Floor

The Beam-on-Floor is a light that showson the floor below the appliance door.

• When the program starts to operate,the red light comes on and stays on forall the duration of the program.

• When the program is completed, thegreen light comes on.

• When the appliance has a malfunction,the red light flashes.

The Beam-on-Floor goes offwhen the appliance is deactiva-ted.

1) With this program you have the most efficient use of water and energy consumption forcrockery and cutlery with normal soil. (This is the standard program for test institutes).

2) The appliance senses the degree of soil and the quantity of items in the baskets. Itautomatically adjusts the temperature and quantity of the water, the energy consumptionand the program duration.

3) With this program you can wash different loads with different soil. A higher temperature andwater pressure in the lower basket, to wash items with heavy soil (e.g. pots and pans). Alower temperature and water pressure in the upper basket, to wash items with normal soil(e.g. glassware).

4) This program has a high temperature rinsing phase for better hygiene results. During therinsing phase, the temperature stays at 70 °C for at least 10 minutes.

5) With this program you can wash a load with fresh soil. It gives good washing results in ashort time.

6) Use this program to quickly rinse the dishes. This prevents the remaining food to bond onthe dishes and bad odours to come out from the appliance.Do not use detergent with this program.

5. OPTIONS

Activate or deactivate the optionsbefore the start of a program. Youcannot activate or deactivate theoptions while a program operates.

If one or more options are set,make sure that the related indica-tors are on before the programstarts.

5.1 MyFavourite

With this option you can set and save theprogram that you use more frequently.

You can only save 1 program at atime. A new setting cancels theprevious one.

How to save a program

1. Press the on/off button to activate theappliance.

2. Set the program that you want tosave. You can also set applicable op-tions together with the program. It isnot possible to save the option Delay.

3. Press and hold MyFavourite until therelated indicator comes on with fixedlight.

How to set the MyFavourite program

1. Press MyFavourite. The indicatorsthat are related to the MyFavouriteprogram and options come on.

• The display shows the number andthe duration of the program.

5.2 TimeSaver

This option increases the pressure andthe temperature of the water. The wash-ing and drying phases are shorter. The to-tal program duration decreases by ap-proximately 50%.The washing results are the same as withthe normal program duration. The dryingresults can decrease.

How to activate the TimeSaver option

1. Press TimeSaver. The related indica-tor comes on. In the display you cansee the update of the program dura-tion.

• If the option is not applicable to theprogram, the related indicator flash-es quickly 3 times and then goesoff.

5.3 Multitab

Activate this option only when you usemulti-tablets.This option deactivates the use of rinseaid and salt. The related indicators stayoff.The program duration can increase.

How to activate the Multitab option

1. Press Multitab, the related indicatorcomes on.

If you stop to use the multi-tablets,before you start to use separatelydetergent, rinse aid and dishwashersalt, do these steps:

1. Set the water softener to the highestlevel.

2. Make sure that the salt container andthe rinse aid dispenser are full.

3. Start the shortest program with a rins-ing phase, without detergent and with-out dishes.

4. Adjust the water softener to the waterhardness in your area.

5. Adjust the released quantity of rinseaid.

5.4 EnergySaver

This option decreases the temperature inthe last rinse phase.The use of this option decreases the ener-gy consumption (up to 25%) and the pro-gram duration.The dishes can be wet at the end of theprogram.

How to activate the EnergySaveroption

1. Press EnergySaver. The related indi-cator comes on. In the display you cansee the update of the program dura-tion.

• If the option is not applicable to theprogram, the related indicator flash-es quickly 3 times and then goesoff.

5.5 Acoustic signals

The acoustic signals operate when theappliance has a malfunction or when theadjustment of the level of the water soft-ener occurs. It is not possible to deacti-vate these acoustic signals.There is also an acoustic signal that oper-ates when the programme is completed.By default, this acoustic signal is off, but itis possible to activate it.

How to activate the acoustic signalfor the end of programme

1. Press the on/off button to activate theappliance. Make sure that the appli-ance is in setting mode, refer to “Set-ting and starting a programme”.

2. Press and hold, at the same time,Program and MyFavourite until the

indicators of Delay, Program and My-Favourite start to flash.

3. Press MyFavourite.

• The indicators of Delay and Pro-gram go off.

• The indicator of MyFavourite contin-ues to flash.

• The display shows the current set-ting.

Acoustic signal on.

Acoustic signal off.

4. Press MyFavourite to change thesetting.

5. Press the on/off button to deactivatethe appliance and to confirm the set-ting.

6. BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Make sure that the set level of the wa-ter softener agrees with the waterhardness in your area. If not, adjustthe water softener. Contact your localwater authority to know the waterhardness in your area.

2. Fill the salt container.

3. Fill the rinse aid dispenser.

4. Open the water tap.

5. Processing residues can stay in theappliance. Start a program to removethem. Do not use detergent and donot load the baskets.

1. Press the on/off button to activate theappliance. Make sure that the appli-ance is in setting mode, refer to “Set-ting and starting a program”.

2. Press and hold, at the same time,Program and MyFavourite until theindicators of Delay, Program and My-Favourite start to flash.

3. Press Delay.

• The indicators of Program and My-Favourite go off.

• The indicator of Delay continues toflash.

• The acoustic signals operate, e.g.five intermittent acoustic signals =level 5.

• The display shows the current set-ting of the water softener, e.g. = level 5.

4. Press Delay again and again tochange the setting.

5. Press the on/off button to deactivatethe appliance and to confirm the set-ting.

6.2 Filling the salt container

1. Turn the cap counterclockwise andopen the salt container.

2. Put 1 litre of water in the salt contain-er (only for the first time).

3. Fill the salt container with dishwashersalt.

4. Remove the salt around the openingof the salt container.

5. Turn the cap clockwise to close thesalt container.

CAUTION!Water and salt can come out fromthe salt container when you fill it.Risk of corrosion. To prevent it,after you fill the salt container,start a program.

6.3 Filling the rinse aid dispenser

1. Press the release button (D) to openthe lid (C).

2. Fill the rinse aid dispenser (A), nomore than the mark 'max'.

3. Remove the spilled rinse aid with anabsorbent cloth to prevent too muchfoam.

4. Close the lid. Make sure that the re-lease button locks into position.

You can turn the selector of thereleased quantity (B) between po-sition 1 (lowest quantity) and posi-tion 4 (highest quantity).

7. DAILY USE

1. Open the water tap.

2. Press the on/off button to activate theappliance. Make sure that the appli-ance is in setting mode, refer to “Set-ting and starting a program”.

• If the salt indicator is on, fill the saltcontainer.

• If the rinse aid indicator is on, fill therinse aid dispenser.

3. Load the baskets.

4. Add the detergent.

• If you use the multi-tablets, activatethe Multitab option.

5. Set and start the correct program forthe type of load and the degree of soil.

7.1 Using the detergent

3. If the program has a prewash phase,put a small quantity of detergent onthe inner part of the appliance door.

4. If you use detergent tablets, put thetablet in the compartment (A).

7.2 Setting and starting aprogram

The Auto Off function

To decrease the energy consumption, thisfunction automatically deactivates the ap-pliance a few minutes after:

• You have not closed the door to startthe program.

• The program is completed.

Setting mode

For some settings it is necessary that theappliance is in setting mode.Press the on/off button to activate the ap-pliance. The appliance is in setting modewhen the display shows programme P1.If the control panel does not show thiscondition, press and hold at the sametime Program and MyFavourite until thedisplay shows programme P1.

Starting a program without delaystart

1. Press the on/off button to activate theappliance. Make sure that the appli-ance is in setting mode.

2. Set a program. Press Program againand again until the display shows in-termittently the number and the dura-tion of the program you want to set. Ifyou want you can set the applicableoptions.

• If you want to set the MyFavouriteprogram, press MyFavourite.

3. Close the appliance door. The pro-gram starts. The program durationstarts to decrease with steps of 1 mi-nute.

Starting a program with delaystart

1. Set the program.

2. Press Delay again and again until thedisplay shows the delay time you wantto set (from 1 to 24 hours).

• The display shows intermittently theprogram number, the program du-ration and the delay time.

• The Delay indicator comes on.

3. Close the appliance door. The count-down starts.

• When the countdown is completed,the program starts.

Opening the door while theappliance operates

If you open the door, the appliance stops.When you close the door, the appliancecontinues from the point of interruption.

Cancelling the delay start whilethe countdown operates

When you cancel the delay start you haveto set the program and options again.Press and hold, at the same time, Pro-gram and MyFavourite until the displayshows program P1.

Cancelling the program

1. Press and hold, at the same time,Program and MyFavourite until thedisplay shows program P1.

Make sure that there is detergentin the detergent dispenser beforeyou start a new program.

At the end of the program

When the programme is completed, thedisplay shows 0:00.

1. Press the on/off button or wait for theAuto Off function to automatically de-activate the appliance.

2. Close the water tap.

Important

• For better drying results, keep the doorajar for some minutes before you re-move the dishes.

• Let the dishes become cold before youremove them from the appliance. Hotdishes can be easily damaged.

• First remove the items from the lowerbasket, then from the upper basket.

• There can be water on the sides and onthe door of the appliance. Stainlesssteel becomes cool more quickly thanthe dishes.

8. HINTS AND TIPS

8.1 The water softener

Hard water contains a high quantity ofminerals that can cause damage to theappliance and bad washing results. Thewater softener neutralises these minerals.The dishwasher salt keeps the water soft-ener clean and in good conditions. It isimportant to set the right level of the watersoftener. This makes sure that the watersoftener uses the correct quantity of dish-washer salt and water.

8.2 Using salt, rinse aid anddetergent

• Only use salt, rinse aid and detergentfor dishwasher. Other products cancause damage to the appliance.

• The rinse aid helps, during the last rins-ing phase, to dry the dishes withoutstreaks and stains.

• Multi-tablets contain detergent, rinseaid and other added agents. Be surethat these tablets are applicable to thewater hardness in your area. Refer tothe instructions on the packaging of theproducts.

• Detergent tablets do not fully dissolvewith short programs. To prevent deter-gent residues on the tableware, we rec-ommend that you use the tablets withlong programs.

Do not use more than the correctquantity of detergent. Refer to theinstructions on the detergentpackaging.

8.3 Loading the baskets

Refer to the supplied leaflet withexamples of the load of the bas-kets.

• Only use the appliance to wash itemsthat are dishwasher-safe.

• Do not put in the appliance items madeof wood, horn, aluminium, pewter andcopper.

• Do not put in the appliance items thatcan absorb water (sponges, householdcloths).

• Remove remaining food from the items.

• To remove easily remaining burnedfood, soak pots and pans in water be-fore you put them in the appliance.

• Put hollow items (cups, glasses andpans) with the opening down.

• Make sure that cutlery and dishes donot bond together. Mix spoons withother cutlery.

• Make sure that glasses do not touchother glasses.

• Put the small items in the cutlery bas-ket.

• Put the light items in the upper basket.Make sure that they do not move.

• Make sure that the spray arms canmove freely before you start a program.

8.4 Before starting a program

Make sure that:

• The filters are clean and correctly instal-led.

• The spray arms are not clogged.

• The position of the items in the basketsis correct.

• The program is applicable for the typeof load and for the degree of soil.

• The correct quantity of detergent isused.

• There is dishwasher salt and rinse aid(unless you use multi-tablets).

• The cap of the salt container is tight.

9. CARE AND CLEANING

WARNING!Before maintenance, deactivatethe appliance and disconnect themains plug from the mains socket.

Dirty filters and clogged sprayarms decrease the washing re-sults.Make a check regularly and, ifnecessary, clean them.

9.1 Cleaning the filters

1. Turn the filter (A) counterclockwiseand remove it.

2. To disassemble the filter (A), pullapart (A1) and (A2).

3. Remove the filter (B).

4. Wash the filters with water.

5. Before you put the filter (B) back,make sure that there are no residuesof food or soil in or around the edgeof the sump.

6. Make sure that the filter (B) is cor-rectly positioned under the 2 guides(C).

7. Assemble the filter (A) and put it backin filter (B). Turn it clockwise until itlocks.

An incorrect position of the filterscan cause bad washing resultsand damage to the appliance.

9.2 Cleaning the spray arms

Do not remove the spray arms.If the holes in the spray arms are clogged,remove remaining parts of soil with a thinpointed object.

9.3 External cleaning

Clean the appliance with a moist softcloth.

Only use neutral detergents. Do not useabrasive products, abrasive cleaning padsor solvents.

9.4 Internal cleaning

If you regularly use short duration pro-grams, these can leave deposits of greaseand limescale inside the appliance.To prevent this, we recommend to runlong duration programs at least 2 timesper month.

10. TROUBLESHOOTING

The appliance does not start or it stopsduring operation.Before you contact the Service, refer tothe information that follows for a solutionto the problem.With some problems, the displayshows an alarm code:

• - The appliance does not fill withwater.

• - The appliance does not drain thewater.

• - The anti-flood device is on.

Problem Possible solution

You cannot activate the appli-ance.

Make sure that the mains plug is connectedto the mains socket.

Make sure that there is not a damaged fuse inthe fuse box.

The program does not start. Make sure that the appliance door is closed.

If the delay start is set, cancel the setting orwait for the end of the countdown.

Make sure that the water tap is open.

Make sure that the pressure of the water sup-ply is not too low. For this information, con-tact your local water authority.

Make sure that the water tap is not clogged.

Make sure that the filter in the inlet hose is notclogged.

The appliance does not drain thewater.

Make sure that the sink spigot is not clogged.

Make sure that the drain hose has no kinks orbends.

The anti-flood device is on. Close the water tap and contact the Service.

After the checks are completed, deacti-vate and activate the appliance. The pro-gram continues from the point of interrup-tion.If the problem occurs again, contact theService.If the display shows other alarm codes,contact the Service.

10.1 If the washing and dryingresults are not satisfactory

Whitish streaks or bluish layers onglasses and dishes

• The released quantity of rinse aid is toomuch. Adjust the rinse aid selector to alower position.

• The quantity of detergent is too much.

Stains and dry water drops onglasses and dishes

• The released quantity of rinse aid is notsufficient. Adjust the rinse aid selectorto a higher position.

• The quality of the multi-tablets can bethe cause. Try a different brand or acti-vate the rinse aid dispenser and userinse aid together with multi-tablets.

10.2 How to activate the rinseaid dispenser

1. Press the on/off button to activate theappliance. Make sure that the appli-ance is in setting mode, refer to “Set-ting and starting a program”.

2. Press and hold, at the same time,Program and MyFavourite until theindicators of Delay, Program and My-Favourite start to flash.

3. Press Program.

• The indicators of Delay and MyFa-vourite go off.

• The indicator of Program continuesto flash.

• The display shows the current set-ting.

Rinse aid dispenser off.

Rinse aid dispenser on.

4. Press Program to change the setting.

5. Press the on/off button to deactivatethe appliance and to confirm the set-ting.

Adjusting the level of theappliance

A correct adjustment of the level of theappliance allows the door to close andseal correctly.If the door does not close correctly, loos-en or tighten the adjustable feet to levelthe appliance.

12.1 Water connection

Water inlet hose

Connect the inlet hose to a water tap withan external BSP thread spout of 3/4″.For best washing performance it is rec-ommended to connect the appliance to acold water supply.Energy savings can be made by connect-ing the appliance to a Solar water system

and using economy options, however thewater temperature must not exceed 60°C.

Inlet water supply

• Water pressure: 800 kPa max - 50 kPamin.

• Water flow rate 10 L / minute min.

• If water pressure is in excess of 800kPa, a pressure reducing valve shouldbe used. Check for leaks.

• If water temperature is in excess of 60°C, a tempering valve should be used.Check for leaks.

CAUTION!Always use new hoses when youconnect the appliance to the wa-ter mains. Old hoses must not beused. The water inlet hose mustbe examined at an interval oftwelve months for deteriorationand replaced if necessary.

The water pressure must be in the limits,refer to “TECHNICAL INFORMATION”.Make sure that the local water authoritygives you the average mains pressure inyour area.

In order to pass the safety valve throughthe kitchen cabinets, an opening of atleast 45 mm x 90 mm is needed.

Water drain hose

The highest point of the drain hose mustbe no more than 600 mm from the floorand must have a continuous fall to theplumbing connection.The drain hose can be lengthened usingadditional lengths and connectors. Thesemust be purchased from Electrolux SpareParts. The extension length must not ex-ceed 2 metres.

The drain hose must be free of obstruc-tions.Remove the sink plug when the appliancedrains the water to prevent that the watergoes back into the appliance.The appliance has a security feature toprevent dirty water going back into theappliance. If the spigot of the sink has anon-return valve, this valve can cause theappliance to drain incorrectly. Remove thenon-return valve.

Removeentireinternalmembrane

If you connect the water drain hose to atrap spigot under the sink, remove theplastic membrane. If you do not removethe membrane, remaining food can causea blockage in the drain hose spigot.

Please keep it withyour proof of purchase documents ina safe place for future referenceshould you require service for yourAppliance.

1. In this warranty

a) ‘acceptable quality’ as referred toin clause 10 of this warranty hasthe same meaning referred to inthe ACL;

b) ‘ACL’ means Trade PracticesAmendment (Australian ConsumerLaw) Act (No.2) 2010;

c) ‘Appliance’ means any Electroluxproduct purchased by you ac-companied by this document;

d) ‘ASC’ means Electrolux’ author-ised serviced centres;

e) ‘Electrolux’ means ElectroluxHome Products Pty Ltd of 163O’Riordan Street, Mascot, NSW2020, ABN 51 004 762 341 in re-spect of Appliances purchased inAustralia and Electrolux (NZ) Limi-ted of 3-5 Niall Burgess Road,Mount Wellington, in respect ofAppliances purchased in NewZealand;

g) ‘Warranty Period’ means:

– where the Appliance is used forpersonal, domestic or house-hold use (i.e. normal single fami-ly use) as set out in the instruc-tion manual, the Appliance iswarranted against manufactur-ing defects in Australia for 24months and in New Zealand for

24 months, following the date oforiginal purchase of the Appli-ance;

– this Appliance is not designedfor commercial use and there-fore no warranty applies in thiscase;

h) ‘you’ means the purchaser of theAppliance not having purchasedthe Appliance for re-sale, and‘your’ has a corresponding mean-ing.

2. This warranty only applies to Applian-ces purchased and used in Australiaor New Zealand and is in addition to(and does not exclude, restrict, ormodify in any way) any non-excluda-ble statutory warranties in Australia orNew Zealand.

3. During the Warranty Period Electroluxor its ASC will, at no extra charge ifyour Appliance is readily accessiblefor service, without special equipmentand subject to these terms and con-ditions, repair or replace any partswhich it considers to be defective.Electrolux or its ASC may use rema-nufactured parts to repair your Appli-ance. You agree that any replacedAppliances or parts become theproperty of Electrolux. This warrantydoes not apply to light globes, batter-ies, filters or similar perishable parts.

4. Parts and Appliances not supplied byElectrolux are not covered by thiswarranty.

5. You will bear the cost of transporta-tion, travel and delivery of the Appli-ance to and from Electrolux or itsASC. If you reside outside of the serv-ice area, you will bear the cost of:

a) travel of an authorised representa-tive;

b) transportation and delivery of theAppliance to and from Electroluxor its ASC,

6. Proof of purchase is required beforeyou can make a claim under this war-ranty.

7. You may not make a claim under thiswarranty unless the defect claimed isdue to faulty or defective parts orworkmanship. Electrolux is not liablein the following situations (which arenot exhaustive):

a) the Appliance is damaged by:

– accident

– misuse or abuse, including fail-ure to properly maintain or serv-ice

– normal wear and tear

– power surges, electrical stormdamage or incorrect powersupply

– incomplete or improper installa-tion

– incorrect, improper or inappro-priate operation

– insect or vermin infestation

– failure to comply with any addi-tional instructions supplied withthe Appliance;

b) the Appliance is modified withoutauthority from Electrolux in writing;

c) the Appliance’s serial number orwarranty seal has been removedor defaced;

d) the Appliance was serviced or re-paired by anyone other than Elec-trolux, an authorised repairer orASC.

8. This warranty, the contract to which itrelates and the relationship betweenyou and Electrolux are governed bythe law applicable where the Appli-ance was purchased. Where the Ap-pliance was purchased in New Zea-land for business purposes the Con-sumer Guarantee Act does not apply.

9. To the extent permitted by law, Elec-trolux excludes all warranties and lia-bilities (other than as contained in thisdocument) including liability for anyloss or damage whether direct or indi-

rect arising from your purchase, useor non use of the Appliance.

10. For Appliances and services providedby Electrolux in Australia, the Applian-ces come with a guarantee by Elec-trolux that cannot be excluded underthe Australian Consumer Law. Youare entitled to a replacement or re-fund for a major failure and for com-pensation for any other reasonablyforeseeable loss or damage. You arealso entitled to have the Appliance re-paired or replaced if the Appliancefails to be of acceptable quality andthe failure does not amount to a ma-jor failure. The benefits to you givenby this warranty are in addition toyour other rights and remedies undera law in relation to the Appliances orservices to which the warranty re-lates.

11. At all times during the Warranty Peri-od, Electrolux shall, at its discretion,determine whether repair, replace-ment or refund will apply if an Appli-ance has a valid warranty claim appli-cable to it.

12. For Appliances and services providedby Electrolux in New Zealand, the Ap-pliances come with a guarantee byElectrolux pursuant to the provisionsof the Consumer Guarantees Act, theSale of Goods Act and the Fair Trad-ing Act.

a) carefully check the operating in-structions, user manual and theterms of this warranty;
