Autopsy Course (2-5 July 1996). This is a comprehensive programme of lectures, demonstrations, practicals and a slide seminar to benefit MRCPath candidates, trainees and consultants. Topics include: Health and safety; Autopsies in AIDS cases; Postmortem microbiology; Postmortem biochemistry and toxicology; Histology, cytology, EM and immunohistochemistry; Maternal deaths; Fetal, perinatal and infant autopsies; Postoperative and cardiac deaths; Neuropathological autopsies; Medicolegal and forensic autopsies; Autopsies in mass disasters; Forensic odontology; Pathology of medical devices and implants; Audit and risk management; Slide seminar; Demonstrations and videotapes of techniques. This course is approved for CME by the Royal College of Pathologists. Early application is advised.
Diagnostic Histopathology Course (1 5-26 July 1996). This is a comprehensive course of practical sessions and slide seminars to benefit MRCPath candidates, trainees and consultants in histopathology. Topics include: Head and neck lesions; Respiratory pathology; Gastrointestinal tract; Liver and biliary tract; Breast disease; Genitourinary tract; Gynaecological pathology; Renal pathology; Neuromuscular disorders; Dermatopathology; Soft tissue lesions; Osteoarticular pathology; Lymphoreticular pathology; Bone marrow trephines; Endocrine lesions; Paediatric pathol- ogy; Test slide seminar.
