About Me

• I want to work with people on projects that I do with my hands. I do not want to be in a office all day long I want to be out and about. As of right now I haven't really done anything towards my future career and I am searching around to see what would be best for me.

Learning style and Work Values

• My learning style is a kinesthetic/tactile learner. This means that I prefer hands on activities, using physical activity, performing a variety of tasks like making models, doing lab work, or role-playing and using computers to reinforce touch. My work values are known as Achievement which means that i look for jobs that let me use my best abilities. I look for jobs that people can see my results and my effort. I would get the feel of accomplishment at the end of the day when I am all done.

Foundations

• I have good self-esteem which means I believe in myself and think I do my best. I have good cooperation with people which means that I get along with people and like working with others on projects and I am on a sports team. I also have good communication skills. I wish to improve on certain different kinds of foundations too. One of them I would like to improve is Leadership which means leading projects and helping others. Another one I would like to work on is self-management which is scheduling your day and setting goals for yourself. One last one I would like to improve is Communication and that is giving class presentations, reading articles and books, and writing essays, reports, short stories, and poetry.

The Birkman Test• In the Birkman test I received Green in my interest color and Red in

my Usual style. People with green Interests like job responsibilities and occupations that involve persuasion, sales, promotions, and group or personal contact. People with green Interests enjoy activities that include: motivating, mediating, selling, influencing, consensus building, persuading, delegating authority, entertaining, and lobbying. These Interests often lead to work in marketing, advertising, training, therapy, consulting, teaching, law, and public relations. People with red styles prefer to perform their job responsibilities in a manner that is action-oriented and practical. They prefer to work where things happen quickly and results are seen immediately. People with red styles tend to be straightforward, assertive, logical, personable, authoritative, friendly, direct, and resourceful, and usually thrive in a self-structured, high-pressured, hierarchical, production-oriented, competitive environment. You will want to choose a work environment or career path in which your style is welcomed and produces results.

Realistic is people who have athletic or mechanical ability, prefer to work with objects, machines, tools, plants or animals, or to be outdoors. Investigative is people who like to observe, learn, investigate, analyze, evaluate or solve problems. Social is people who like to work with people to enlighten, inform, help, train, or cure them, or are skilled with words.

Bar/Club Manager• A day in the life of a Bar/Club Manager involves many responsibilities. You have to do

a lot of work involving many different tasks to get your place ready for the night. You are always trying to give the people "the night they've always wanted". You have to have different nights with different themes to get different kinds of people there and draw out the bigger crowd. Some of the themes could be "Happy Hours" "Couples Night" and "Open Mic Nights'. The quality of life is hard and expensive. You have to schedule your life around your place so that you can be there helping out when ever you can. It starts off extremely hard but than as you get more comfy with it and your place is getting bigger it becomes easier. There is no need for any form of education to own a bar or club but most owners have at least a high school diploma.

• Coaches teach athletic skills, provide fitness training, and train athletes for different competitions. You have to have a good relationship with the athletes so that they respect you and listen to what you have to tell them. You want to always push the kids to get the best but not too much. The quality of life is that you work certain hours and put in different hours at many different times.
