Principal’s Message
Principal’s Message The second semester is one that often slips away on high school
students. Between the February and Easter breaks and playoff
basketball it's easy for weeks to slip away. I encourage parents
of high school students to have continuous conversations about
their progress in their credit courses and ask to see their grades
and progress in Cyber School classes. I look forward to seeing
parents in the school for interviews in March. Reminder to grade
9 parents that you have been invited to meet with me on March
24 @ 5pm to learn about what high school will bring for your
child.

News from Chinook Cyber School
This month’s spotlight features Angela Clement
Angela began her teaching career in the elementary grades. In the
past number of years, Angela has taken on the role of Principal of
Val Marie School and is a part-time member of the Chinook Cyber
School. With her first-hand experience as a farmer and rancher, Ang
developed the elective options of AgTech Cow/Calf Production 10,
20 and 30 as well as Crop Production. These electives are a great
option for the students in our division with well over half our
families coming from farming and ranching backgrounds. Providing
students with credit options that fit with their everyday lives has
been a goal for our school and Ang’s courses have helped us
towards reaching that goal. Ang has two Master’s degrees in
Distance Learning and her commitment to lifelong learning is
something she works to instill in her online and face to face
students.
