The institutions named below agree to cooperate for the exchange of students and/or staff in the context of the Erasmus Plus programme. They commit to respect the quality requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education in all aspects related to the organisation and management of the mobility, in particular the recognition of the credits awarded to students by the partner institution.

• Notes 1. Subject area code & name and study cycle are optional. Inter-institutional agreements are not

compulsory for Student Mobility for Traineeships or Staff Mobility for Training. Institutions may agree to cooperate on the organization of traineeship. In this case, they should indicate the number of students that they intend to send to the partner country. Total duration in months/days of the student/staff mobility periods or average duration can be indicated if relevant.

2. The staff for teaching in previous table has been set by mutual agreement between the two institutions. Some other staff mobility can be set depending on the mutual agreement by the time of each mission.

The sending institution, following agreement with the receiving institution, is responsible for providing support to its nominated candidates so that they can have the recommended language skills at the start of the study or teaching period:

• For more details on the language of instruction recommendations, see the course catalogue of

each institution (links provided on first page).

RO BUCURES11 comments: • The spoken language during the 1st cycle is Romanian. However, students with sufficient level

of English can perform quite well, as many of course materials are in English. Exams can be passed in English on demand. French is a language that Romanian teachers and students can easily understand. Moreover, some courses are given in French.

• Some Master Modules at PUB-FAC&C are taught in English. Nevertheless, most Master modules are taught in Romanian.

• If necessary, basic Romanian lessons can be arranged, free of charge.

F GRENOBL01 comments: • It is deemed understood that students must have the necessary level to be able to attend

lessons and sit exams. French language knowledge is highly recommended.

D. Additional requirements

Best candidate ERASMUS students have to be selected from each institution, as result of annual contests.

The sending institution is in charge with offering the ERASMUS student or teacher the fellowship during the mobility period.

The receiving institution is in charge with offering the ERASMUS student or teacher a convenient accommodation. Moreover, for ERASMUS teachers, the receiving institution should set some working places with internet connection.

Both institutions have the infrastructure to welcome students and staff with disabilities.

• Enrolment. There are no enrolment conditions. The foreign student is in charge with selecting the courses that bring her/him the number of required ECTS by the sending institution.

• Admission to Master programmes. Master courses can be taken by foreigners without any restriction, but no graduation diploma is issued. Getting the Romanian graduation diploma at Master level is only possible for foreigners if some double diploma agreement has already been set between the two institutions, prior to students’ mobility. In this case, guest students have to complete the 2nd year of the 2nd cycle solely in Romania.

• Teaching Staff Mobility. A letter of invitation issued by an authorized Romanian contact person is required, prior to implementing Teaching Staff Mobility.

E. Calendar

2. The receiving institution will send its decision within 3 weeks.

3. A Transcript of Records will be issued by the receiving institution no later than 5 weeks after the assessment period has finished at the receiving HEI.

4. Termination of the agreement

The inter-institutional agreement can be terminated by mutual consent of both parts. Unilateral agreement termination can be decided as well, but, in this case, the decision to discontinue the exchanges notified to the other part by 1st October 20yy will only take effect as of 1st October 20yy+1.

Neither the European Commission nor the ERASMUS Programme National Agencies can be held responsible in case of a conflict between the parts of this agreement.

• The selected students should contact either the FAC&C at <[email protected]> or the PUB ERASMUS office at <[email protected]>, at least one month prior to their journey in Romania, in order to set the details of their stay (accommodation, venue, etc.).

3. Insurance

The sending and receiving institutions will provide assistance in obtaining insurance for incoming and outbound mobile participants, according to the requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education.
