    Are you a pharmacist?

    Are you sure that you are a pharmacist?

    Ok, Ok, I believe you...

    But are you a clinical pharmacist?

    What? What are you saying?

    You don't know what Clinical Skills is?!!

    FINE, So as EPSF continues to care about you, and as that pharmacists should have clinical skills, so we

    had to contribute to increase the awareness of those skills for you, me and all Egyptian pharmacy

    students.

    Place:

    Faculty of pharmacy and drug manufacture, Pharos University,

    Alexandria, Egypt.

    Host:

    This EPSF event was organized by PSPSA (Pharos Scientific

    Pharmaceutical Student Association), Full Member association in

    EPSF.

    Number of participants:

    150 students from all over Egypt.

    Preparations:

    Since its an important event so we had a team which consisted

    of 25 organizers, we published posters to promote the event

    among the pharmacy students then speakers were contacted for

    the event.

    Main topic for the event:

    OTC agents for GERD, heartburn and Dyspepsia.

    The first day:

    1. Session entitled "non-prescription pharmacotherapy" by Dr. Ahmed Abo Zaid which talked about all the

    important clinical data needed to be a professional pharmacist.

    2. To be a good clinical pharmacist you should learn how to work with healthcare team members and this

    skill was gained after the "Team building" session by Dr. Ayman El-Nahas.

    3. We had partners too in our efforts such as El-Ezaby Pharmacies who provided us with the marvelous

    session called "OTC drugs & drug interaction".

    The second day:

    1. CAUTION: Don't eat a lot of sweets. Because after this session we really learned the threats of Diabetes

    Mellitus by Dr. Hosny Fouad.

    2. NOW, Let's COMPETE!, Six finalists were chosen by a quiz to enter the final competition which was role

    play between pharmacist and patient.

    And how was the judgment?Dr. Ahmed Abo Zaid was the judge and gave few comments to the competitors then three winners were

    chosen and awarded
