The EPIC Intelligent DC Switchboard was designed to simplify DC system management and increase reliability. Combining our DC System Monitor 1000 with load board distribution brings to market a switchboard

specifically tailored to the needs of the utility DC power system.

As the importance for ensuring system reliability increases, the EPIC Intelligent DC Switchboard fulfills the need of power distribution and DC system data analysis into one single retrievable location. The integrated DC Sytem Monitor 1000 monitors and records the status of your DC system at the component and system levels. Record and monitor battery health, discharge events, ground detection, and receive reporting for data analysis.

Designed into the DC Sytem Monitor 1000 is the HindleHealth® System, a diagnostic and control platform that simply tells you if your system is performing correctly or if you have current or impending issues. Customize your experience for company specific work behaviors.

Flexible Input/Output DesignThe EPIC Intelligent DC Switchboard can be tailored to fit the needs of any site. The onboard supervisory system can be configured to additionally monitor most third party equipment. Flexible digital and analog I/O ports allow for simple custom designs.

Branch Circuit Ground DetectionHave you or your crew ever spent valuable time tracking down ground faults on your DC bus?

Our integrated ground fault detection system can identify what circuit possess a leakage to ground. Quickly locate ground faults on your system without cycling power to critical loads. Flexible set point thresholds are available in milliamp or impedance measurements.

Custom Circuit Breaker ConfigurationThe EPIC Intelligent DC Switchboard can accommodate a wide variety of branch circuit configurations. UL 489 DC rated breakers, up to 125A, can be configured to site specific designs. Main breakers and lugs are rated up to 400A.

WHAT CAN THE DC SYSTEM MONITOR 1000 DO FOR YOU?

The Intelligent DC Switchboard is equipped with the HindleHealth System, an intuitive diagnostic and control platform standard on all new products.

The HindleHealth System assists the user in confidently knowing the health of the DC System while also helping with DC system maintenance. System set up, maintenance scheduling, system and component diagnostics, report generation, and component alarming are all performed under one application. Its simple, step through layout make it easy to operate.

Green and Red LED lights, mounted on the exterior of the switchboard, display system status in real time. At a glance know your DC system is running smoothly or, in a moment’s notice, access the HindleHealth System for issue identification and quick trouble shooting.
