Public schools are the majority. Private schools are not as highly valued as they are in America.

Private schools are thought of as being more prestigious than public schools.

Strict emphasis on memorization and following strict commands.

Emphasis on creative thinking and self reflection.

A single test that can be taken only once determines collage admittance.

Collage admittance is based on a variety of factors including SAT and extracurricular activities.

You must decide on what you want to major in before applying to college. This decision can’t change.

The “major decision” in college is very fluid and a student has the ability to change his/her mind.
