1 Skein Cascade Yarns Bentley (100 g/ 3.5 oz) each. Approx. 208yds/190m, 75% acrylic, 25% superwash wool) in #20 (Frost Grey)

Size US 7 (4.5mm) DPNs

Size US 7 (4.5mm) 24” Circular Knitting Needles

Cable Needle

1 Stitch Marker

Gauge:

14 sts and 25 rounds/4” in cable pattern blocked and slightly stretched

Approximate Finished Size:

One size fits most male adults, 22” circumference

• Round 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40 and 44: [(k2, p2) three times, k2, p6] five times across round.

Instructions:

• With circular needles, CO 100 sts. Join into round being careful

not to twist sts. Pm for bor.

• Work [k2, p2] to end of round. Continue in rib until work

measures 3.5” from CO edge.

• Begin cable chart, working rounds 1-47 once.

• Begin crown decreases, switching to DPNs when necessary.

• Next Round: [(k2tog, p2tog) four times, (p2tog) twice] to end of round – 50 sts.

• Next Round: [(k1, p1) three times, k1, p3 to end of round.

• Next Round: [sk2p, p1, sk2p, p3tog] to end of round – 20 sts.

• Next Round: [k1, p1] to end of round.

Next Round: [sk2p, p1] to end of round – 10 sts.

• Break yarn, weaving tail through remaining sts, cinch shut. Secure on WS.

• Weave in all loose ends with tapestry needle.

• Block lightly.

• Flip bottom 1.5” up for brim.
